    • PURPOSE: To shorten the overall cutting time by controlling the position of a plate material cutting head by means of a measurement data stored in a storage means and providing a cutting tool with a cutting control means for cutting a plate material from a cutting start position to a cutting completion position. CONSTITUTION: The position of a plate material cutting head is measured by rotary encorders 46 and 65 as a first and a second measurement means, and cutting line intervals of the plate material for the plate material cutting head having a cutting reference point as reference are input from a cutting position input section 68 and stored in a RAM 92. On the other hand, the cutting distances of respective cutting lines are measured based on the encorder 65, and the measurement data is input from the data input section 68 and stored in the RAM 92. The measurement data is taken out of the RAM 92 by a CPU 90, and the plate material cutting head is moved in compliance with the cutting line intervals and cutting distances, and the cutting operation along the measurement data is carried out by the cutting tool of the head.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently grind a gravestone by clamping the top and bottom surfaces of a gravestone on a grinding unit, which simultaneously polishes the four surfaces of the gravestone, and by installing abrasive heads, which face the four side surfaces, and by interlocking the abrasive heads with a link mechanism thereby allowing the heads to rotate and by simultaneously cutting the four side surfaces of the gravestone. CONSTITUTION:A travelling car 29 moves on the rails 28 to transport a gravestone 16 to a grinding unit. The gravestone 16 on the travelling car 29 is fixed to a clamp 17 by operating a clamp cylinder. The four abrasive heads 10 are installed to a threaded rod 5 inside a lift member 4 in such a way that the heads 10 may freely rotate. When each abrasive head 10 is rotated by a motor, an air cylinder 12 is driven and rotated around the center of the threaded rod 5, matching the width of the gravestone 16 and hence polishes the surfaces of the gravestone 16. This operation is interlocked with the link mechanism, allowing the four abrasive heads 10 to rotate simultaneously.

    • PURPOSE:To permit the count of grinders to be automatically changed by radially arranging polygonal pyramids type grinders on a grinder head and indexing each surface of the grinder in interlocking, through utilization of the vertical movement of the head. CONSTITUTION:A body case 1 in the form of circular truncated cone is installed onto the main shaft 1 which is installed onto a grinder through a mounting flange 2, and 4-8 supporting shafts 10 are bearing-supported radially onto the inclined part of the side wall of the body case 1. Onto the supporting shaft 10, the bevel gear 9 which is meshed with a turing bevel gear 12 and rotates in interlocking and the polygonal pyramid type grinder 7 equipped with the grinder surfaces 25 each having different count are fixed. When the grinder is raised, a rotary pin 17 is pushed onto the annular contact plate 11 fixed on the machine body, and the supporting shaft 10 is rotated in a fixed direction through the rack 15 integrally formed with the rotary pin 17, gear 13, and a unidirectional clutch 14, and a positioning pin 21 is pushed-up, and the tuning bevel gear 12 is rotated by a certain angle, and the grinder surface 25 is indexed.
