    • PURPOSE:To prevent a manually supplied recording paper from being bent by loading and unloading of a paper feed cassette during feeding of the manually supplied recording paper or during printing in a printer in which the paper feed cassette used for accommodating recording papers and automatically feeding the papers to a printing mechanism is provided in such a way that it can be loaded and unloaded, and which permits manual supply from the paper discharge side. CONSTITUTION:A detecting means 9 for detecting the presence or absence of a loaded paper feed cassette 4 is provided. When a manually supplied recording paper is fed from the side of carrying rollers 17, 18 with a door 7 opened and a pitching roller 11 lifted up, or when printing is performed thereafter, feeding of papers or printing is immediately stopped and the recording paper is discharged when the absence of the paper feed cassette 4 is detected by the detecting means 9. Thus, bending of the manually supplied recording paper at the time that the paper feed cassette 4 is loaded is previously prevented. The detecting means can be used as a detecting means for detecting the loading operation of the paper feed cassette 4. So that the recording paper can be discharged.     • PURPOSE:To prevent a recording paper sheet from removing from a separation pawl if a forward motion force is given to the recording paper sheet by impact or vibration at non-feeding time so as to apply a paper sheet feeder to portable printers or the like. CONSTITUTION:At other than sheet feeding time, a picking roller 13 is moved up to get apart from a recording paper sheet 2 in a paper sheet cassette 3. In up-motion of the picking roller 13, an arm 14 is oscillated to oscillate a lever 12 by an energization force of a twisted coil spring 17 corresponding to displacement of a suspension member 14a of the arm 14, and a front plate part 12b of the lever 12 is applied to an upper end surface of a front wall of the paper sheet cassette 3 at an up-motion position of the picking roller 13 by this oscillation action. In non-feeding time, therefore, the front plate part 12b of the lever 12 advances to the front of the recording paper sheet 2 in the paper sheet cassette 3, thereby if a moving force to the front is given to the recording paper sheet 2 by impact or vibration, the recording paper sheet 2 is not removed from a separation pawl 25.

CONSTITUTION:When a picking roller 16 is moved up at other than sheet feeding time, a separating pawl 12 is displaced inward in the width direction of a recording sheet 2 by an energization force of a plate spring 15 by up-motion of a cam shaft 25, a diameter-enlarged part 25a of the cam shaft 25 is applied to a protruding member 12d of the separation pawl 12 to give a pressure to the separation pawl 12 to the outer side in the width direction of the recording sheet 2 so as to displace the separation pawl 12 to the outer side in the width direction of the recording sheet 2 against the energization force of the plate spring 15. The separation pawl 12 is thus positioned at the outer side of the width of the recording sheet 2 in sheet feeding time than the position in non- feeding time, and if the separation pawl 12 is set large for preventing removal of engagement of the recording sheet 2 with the separation pawl 12 by vibration or impact in non-feeding, engagement condition of the recording sheet can be proper in sheet feeding.

Next, a water turbine 6a is rotated by dint of the fallen water and this rotation is transmitted to a first pulley 6b via a second pulley and a belt 6m, thereby rotating the turning shaft of a generator 6f. Thus this generator 6f operates for generation. In succession, electric power generated is stored in a condensing set 8 connected to this generator 6f. This condensing set 8 serves as a power source for a body detecting sensor 4, supplying electricity to this sensor 4. With this constitution, since a generating set is operated by way of utilizing the power of flushing water, electric charges are thus savable.

CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 10a, 10b are conducted to each other through a foam material 8a, ink in a pipe 9, and a foam material 8b. When the ink is consumed and the ink in the foam material 8a is gone, circulation of the ink via a pipe comes not to be performed, and a current between the electrodes 10a, 10b is intercepted by the pipe 9 having an insulating property. Said no conduction between the electrodes 10a, 10b is detected with a detection circuit, and the condition is regarded as 'no ink'. Since the ink remains yet in the foam material 8b, printing can be a little performed yet after display of 'no ink'.
