    • PURPOSE:To achieve a higher aesthetic effect of a timepiece, by varying a pattern previously applied to hour and minute hands and by further coloring them. CONSTITUTION:When an hour hand pipe turns around the axis thereof, an hour hand 4c held with an hour hand holder 4a is turned on the axis of the hour hand pipe while a first gear 6 on a dial plate 2 is meshed with a first pinion 7 of the hour hand 4c and hence, the hour hand 4c itself turns around the axis thereof. Likewise, a minute hand pipe turns on the axis thereof while a second gear 8 on the inside of a front cover 3 is meshed with a second pinion 9 of a minute hand 5c and hence, the minute hand 5c itself turns around the axis thereof. Thus, a pattern previously applied on the hour hand 4c and the minute hand 5c varies with the passage of time. With such an arrangement, the pattern applied on the hour hand 4c and the minute hand 5c varies to feast eyes and furthermore, provides a color variation by being colored thereby achieving a higher aesthetic effect.

    • PURPOSE:To manufacture efficiently at a low cost a case for a clock mechanical body where a surface layer part is smooth and an inner layer part is in a foamed structure, by a method wherein when a foaming action of a foamed plastic material is controlled by casting high-pressure gas into a cavity, and the foamed plastic material is solidified only in a layer which comes into contact with the inside of the cavity, the remaining foaming action is allowed to progress by suspending feed of high-pressure gas. CONSTITUTION:A foamed plastic material which is about 60-70% of inner capacity of a cavity of a molding mold for a lower case 1 is injected into the cavity at a temperature of about 260 deg.C. Then high-pressure nitrogen gas is cast immediately into the cavity. Although the molten plastics spreads over to every corner of the cavity, a foaming action is controlled by high pressure gas. Then as a mold temperature is low, solidification of the plastics begins from the surface of the cavity. With this construction, a smooth surface layer part 10 free from swirl marks is obtained. When feed of the high-pressure gas within the cavity is suspended after the solidification has to come extent, the foaming action which has been controlled progresses, through which an inner layer part 11 becomes a foamed structure.

    • PURPOSE:To enable accurate measurement of playing time of go, by counting in such a way that a 1/nsec pulse is expressed in an n-radix counter. CONSTITUTION:When a second mover pushes down a button 3 simultaneously with a sign of start of the go-game, a switch 9 is placed in OFF position and a switch gain ON position, a movement 4 stays unoperated with a stopped indicator 13 and a movement 4a for the first player operates and 1/nsec pulses of a dividing circuit 7a are counted by a n-radix counter 10a after passing through a gate circuit 8. This counter 10a after counting n times, namely, after total count of 1sec, a pulse is generated and this pulse is supplied to a motor ariving circuit 11a and a clock driving step-motor 12a is started for advancing an indicator 13 of a time indicator 2a. When the first player presses down a button 3a after a move, the switch 9a is placed in OFF position and the switch 9 in ON position in following the same procedures, the indicator 13 of the time indicating unit 2 is advanced. Later, everyh time each player, makes a move, the buttons 3, 3a are pressed down alternately to operate the movement of the opponent, and thus the opponent's time allowance becomes decreased.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent damage to the mechanical unit of a clock during package transporting and to improve a containing efficiency for transportation. CONSTITUTION:A male coupler 6 is formed at one of two adjacent sides of a mechanical case A of a rectangular parallelpiped shape for constituting the mechanical unit of a clock. A female coupler 7 of a shape to be engaged with the coupler 6 is formed on the other side. When the coupler 6 is engaged with the coupler 7 formed on the other side of the unit, the units are coupled. Such coupling is repeated to couple four units as one lump. When the units coupled each other are contained in a container for transportation, collision or rubbing against each other of the units is prevented in the container to prevent damage to the units. Since the units can be contained that the units are coupled in the one lump, a containing efficiency for the transportation is improved.

CONSTITUTION:During the time where there is enough ink in an ink bag 5, the pressure of the ink in a flow passage is almost constant, a first ink passing chamber 2a is also filled with ink, and a flexible piezoelectric sheet 11 bends to the outside in an expanding way. A voltage is generated by the deflection. The voltage is detected through leads 12a and 12b and the presence of enough ink can be detected. When the ink in the ink bag 5 runs out, the ink in the first ink passing chamber 2a also decreases, the flexible piezoelectric sheet does not bend, and the voltage is not generated. When the ink decreases further, a negative pressure generates in the first ink passing chamber 2a and the flexible piezoelectric sheet 11 bends to the inside. At this time, a voltage with a pole reverse to the time when it is bent to the outside is generated. A running out of the ink can be detected by detecting this voltage.

Thus, the position of the hole 8 can easily be detected in a short time including whether or not the hole 8 is bored at the accurate position, how much the position deviates, etc.

A notch 6 is provided at the peripheries of the light emitting layer and insulative layer, and an external contact member 7 leading to the transparent electrode is furnished. A base plate 9 of metal to serve also as a back electrode is adhered to the insulating layer and put in electric continuity to a block of EL driver circuit through one of the connecting members 10, and by means of an admitting means 12, the external contact member is put in continuity to the block of driver circuit through the other connecting member 11.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent nitrogen sickness or decompression sickness by easily attaching a measuring portion to a part of the body such as finger, ear, etc., to facilitate measurement and by measuring a residual nitrogen amount in the body during diving. CONSTITUTION:A main body 1 and a measuring part 2, that are enclosed with waterproof cases 4 in order to use during diving, are connected with a flexible signal cable 3. In the measuring part 2, a light emitting block 6 to emit a light with a wavelength which is absorbed by the residual nitrogen in the blood and a light receiving block 7 to receive a light which has been transmitted through the body are provided. At the side of the main body 1, a holding portion 9 which stores and holds the measuring part 2 and a groove 10 which stores the communication cable 3 are provided. In the main body 1, a water pressure sensor 11, time measuring circuit 12, and memory 13 are provided in order to obtain data to calculate a non-decompression diving time. A central control unit 14 receives the data from the light receiving block 7, water pressure sensor 11, time measuring circuit 12, etc., and calculates a residual nitrogen amount in the body, non-decompression diving time, etc., and a display unit 15 displays the information obtained from the central control unit 14.
