    • PURPOSE:To enable a blind person to measure his or her own temperature by oneself, by providing a sound generating means, which generates sounds that are different in response to the detected outputs of a temperature detecting means, in the temperature detecting means. CONSTITUTION:A bodily temperature is detected by a temperature detecting means 1. The outputs of the temperature detecting means 1 are outputted in such a way that BCD code signals 0.1D, 1D, and 10D corresponding to 0.1 deg.C digit, 1 deg.C digit, and 10 deg.C digit. A sound generating means 2 synthesizes the sounds, which are different in response to the values of the output signals 0.1D, 1D, and 10D from the temperature detecting means 1, and sends the sounds to a speaker 3. In this way, since the own temperature is recognized by the sounds, a blind person can measure his or her own temperature by oneself.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the reduction in the number of drive circuits and wirings, by commonly connecting terminals on one side of coils in a plurality of step motors. CONSTITUTION:Terminals on one side of coils 13 and 18 in stators 14 and 19 in 2 step motors for watch are connected to drive circuits 5 and 10 in an integrated circuits 1, respectively, and terminals on the other side are commonly connected to a drive circuit 21. Only either of the motors or both motors are driven through the circuits 16, 17, and 21, and as a result, the number of motor drive circuits is 1 piece more than the number of motors. This constitution reduces the number of drive circuits and wirings, and an integrated driving circuit is miniaturized.

    • PURPOSE:To make possible to perceive the charge or discharge condition of a secondary battery by light-out sweep of a transverse scanning line of a dot-matrix longitudinally in accordance with the output of a sweep control circuit which controls an indicator in proportion to the output of a prevention circuit for overcharging. CONSTITUTION:A data decoded as letter information in a character generator 14 is transmitted to a latch circuit having a reset at the timing of pulse phi1 output by an one-shot pulse generation circuit 25 corresponding to scanning signals a-h in a driver circuit 23 and output character data from a driver circuit 22. Then, the letter indication is performed by driving the longitudinal segment of a dot-matrix indicator 24. In case of perceiving the charge or discharge of the secondary batter, the output of the driver circuit 22 is transduced into a light-out pulse by pulse R generated in a sweep control circuit 27 including a prevention circuit of overcharge and a SW circuit. Since the light-out sweep is performed from h to a during the charging and from a to h during the discharging, the charge or discharge condition can be perceived easily.

    • PURPOSE:To take the fundamental frequency out of signals having many harmonic components such as speech in real time, by comparing the positive and negative peaks of the signal with the positive and negative values of an input signal, and controlling a flip-flop. CONSTITUTION:A speech signal or a musical sound signal is inputted to peak detecting circuits 3 and 4, to which a DC potential is applied from a DC bias circuit 6, through inverted amplifiers 1 and 2, to which a DC potential is applied to a DC bias circuit 5. The peak value is held by a capacitor C. When the waveform indicates the peak value, the output of a comparator is inverted. An SRF/ F7 is set at the positive peak and reset at the negative peak. The Q output of the SRF/F7 is inputted to a differentiating circuit 8 and a delay circuit 9. When the positive peak is generated, a counter 11, which is counting a clock signal, is reset. The value immediately before is held by a latch circuit 12. The contents held by the latch circuit 12 are supplied to a data bus as pitch data in real time based on the instruction from a processor.
