    • PURPOSE:To simplify a position adjusting mechanism and secure the correct supply of plate information by storing a function part to control a plate in a plate cylinder and providing a system to receive and send control signals to and from the function part by light-electricity converters placed at the external parts corresponding to the shaft ends of the plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Driving signals of a position adjusting mechanism for a plate cylinder and signals of plate information are supplied by a programmable computer 20 and fed and fed back through the first light-electricity converter 21 on the side of a frame 1 and the second light-electricity converter 22 incorporated in the end of a retaining shaft 2b of a plate cylinder 2. An input and output device 23 which sends and receives signals to and from the second light- electricity converter 21 is provided inside the plate cylinder 2 and a control system which inputs controller signals of the plate position adjusting mechanism therefrom. A driving motor is provided in the plate cylinder 2 itself to adjust the position of an outer sleeve and an internal space is used for storing the driving mechanism.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure registering by making rapid correction of elongation rate of a web or the like possible by a method wherein in a multicolor printing machine in which a plurality of printing units are vertically arranged, a sufficient distance is set between at least one set of sets of the printing units, and a register correcting apparatus is arranged. SOLUTION: In a multicolor printing machine, four printing units 1-4 are arranged, and a color printing image is printed while a web W passes through blanket cylinders 1a-4a arranged respectively thereto. In this case, a distance between the blanket cylinders 2a, 3a in the middle stage printing units 2, 3 is elongated, and a register correcting apparatus 5 for correcting an elongation rate of the web following expansion and contraction according to variation in traveling speed of the web is provided between them. The register correcting apparatus 5 is composed of a specific positional roller 6 and a displacing roller 7, expands and contracts a length of the web W by controlling positional setting of the displacing roller 7 by referring to elongation rate to printing speed of the web W, and maintains certainly registering.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten the adjusting time of ink supply quantity and to set and alter respective control factors on the same operation surface by providing the opening degree display part of an ink key, a key adding and subtracting the set value in a ten key part with respect to the present opening degree value and an ink supply quantity control means based on a set opening degree value. CONSTITUTION:The opening degree of an ink key is detected by a potentiometer to be fed back. A main controller adjusts the ink supply quantity of a rotary press and monitors and controls other control. Next, in on-line ink adjustment, a cylinder is selected in a cylinder selection part 63 and a page is selected in a page selection part 64. Data desired to be increased and decreased is inputted by pushing a ten key 60 of 0-9 and, when the plus key 58 or minus key 59 of each colunm is pushed, the data inputted by the key 60 increases or decreases. When the key changes, the display of an opening degree display part 57 changes. The setting of a reference value is inputted 0-90% by the ten key and, when a reference setting key is pushed, a DELTA mark is moved to a lower setting position.
