    • PURPOSE:To effectively suppress a pressure change by providing an accumulator having a gas layer formed therein by heating refrigerant to a saturated temperature or higher at the suction side or/and the discharge side of an electromagnetic pump in a refrigerant heating type air conditioner for conveying the refrigerant by using the pump. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner to become a refrigerant heating type heating or cooling dryer closes a solenoid valve 3, opens solenoid valves 18, 19 and an electronic expansion valve 7 and operates an electromagnetic pump 16 and a burner 11 at the time of heating. In this case, refrigerant liquid discharged from the pump 16 is once fed to a discharge side accumulator 17, then heated to be gasified by a refrigerant heater 12, and then supplied to the heat exchangers 4, 5 of an indoor unit B, thereby heating. In this case, the accumulator 17 has heating means at its upper part to heat the introduced liquid to its saturated temperature or higher, thereby forming a gas layer at the upper part, and the refrigerant discharge change of the pump is absorbed to be alleviated by the layer.

    • PURPOSE: To improve a refrigerant heater which feeds a refrigerant being heated by heat-exchanging with a combustion gas being burnt by a gas burner, etc., to a compressor to perform a heating operation so that the refrigerant heater can be easily built up by the simplification of constituent parts, and the cost may be reduced, and a high combustion efficiency may be obtained, and the refrigerant heater may become light-weight, etc. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerant heater 10 consists of a combustion device being equipped on the bottom, such as a gas burner 7, and a heat-exchanger which is connected to the top of the combustion device, and wherein a refrigerant returning to a compressor in a refrigerant tube 3 being provided under a zig-zag state on the external surface is heated by a combustion gas stream passing through an internal passage. For such a refrigerant heater 10, the main body case part 40 is constituted by integrally forming an apparatus case 9 which is the external surface member of the heat-exchanger and a box body 6 of the combustion device in which the gas burner 7 is housed. By doing so, labor to build up and combine a heat-exchanger and a combustion device which are conventionally separate parts, can be eliminated, and the insertion of a packing becomes unnecessary, and the efficiency of the production can be improved, and the cost can be reduced. At the same time, the heat-exchanging performance of the refrigerant heater 10 can be made favorable.
