摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-soluble polysaccharide having a low foaming property and capable of forming a highly transparent aqueous polysaccharide soln. at a low purification cost by treating a water-soluble polysaccharide extract with a proteolytic enzyme and then purifying it. SOLUTION: A water-soluble polysaccharide extract (preferably an extract from beans, e.g. soybeans) is treated with a proteolytic enzyme (e.g. a protease or a peptidase such as pepsin, trypsin, papain, subtilisin or bromelin of either endo-type or exo-type) and then purified. Concretely, for example, water is added to fresh bean curd less obtained in the step of producing a separated soybean protein, and the obtd. mixture is adjusted to pH4.5 with hydrochloric acid to conduct extraction at 120 deg.C for 1.5hr. The extract is cooled and centrifuged and the obtd. supernatant (water-soluble polysaccharide soln.) is adjusted to pH7.0. Then a protease is added thereto to conduct a reaction at 40 deg.C for 120min, and the soln. is centrifuged to remove a suspended matter and then purified with an active carbon column. The foaming power and turbidity of the aqueous soln. are remarkably reduced to reduce the amt. of additives used for the purification.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce a fertilizer composition capable of accelerating the growth of a plant and increasing a crop, having no side effect and to obtain a fertilizer formed product inexpensive and strong in formation by using a water-soluble hemicellulose originated from soy bean as a fertilizer component and a binding agent for the fertilizer. CONSTITUTION:Water is added to raw OKARA (by-product of soy bean curd), and this mixture is heated at 80-130 deg.C at the pH near the isoelectric point of protein to fractionate a water-soluble fraction, and the water-soluble hemicellulose originated from the soy bean having average mol.wt. of about five thousand to one million is obtained as it is or by subjecting to an active carbon treatment. This water-soluble hemicellulose is added to a conventional fertilizer and/or the substance effective as the fertilizer by 0.01-50% to obtain the fertilizer composition. When this fertilizer composition is formed by an usual granulating method or a press solidifying method, etc., this fertilizer composition exhibits excellent effect as a binding agent, and various shaped fertilizer formed products are obtained.
