摘要： NEW MATERIAL:A cyclic sulfoxide derivative of formula I (R is H, lower alkyl or lower alkenyl; R is >=8C hydrocarbon group; n is 1-4). EXAMPLE:2-Hexadecyltetramethylene sulfoxide. USE:A drug. A percutaneous absorption-accelerating agent. The drug or agent is preferably applied directly to an injured portion of a near portion thereof for the total treatment of an injury, skin sore, muscle pain, arthritis, etc., or applied to an easily medical ingredient-absorbing site for the general treatment of organs, etc., in the body. The agent is further used in cosmetics for skin cleansing, face packing, sunburn measures, skin irritation measures, moisture treatment, etc. PREPARATION:A cyclic sulfoxide of formula II is reacted with an alkylating agent of formula: R X (X is halogen, tosyloxy, mesyloxy or trifluoromethanesulfonyloxy) preferably in a solvent such as tetrahydrofuran in the presence of a base such as NaH to readily provide the compound of formula I.

CONSTITUTION:An electron acceptive group such as an aromatic group, a pyridinium group or an aromatic quinonyl group, of which the nucleus was substituted with an electron withdrawing group such as a nitro group, a cyano group, a carbonyl group, a sulfonyl group, an ammonium group or a halogen atom, is introduced into a polymer in an introducing ratio of 1-100% on the basis of a monomer mol percentage and the MW of said polymer is pref. 10,000 or more. This polymer is formed into a membrane with a thickness of 0.01-200mum. Crosslinking treatment is pref. not performed. As the separable aromatic compound, benzene, naphthalene, anthracene, furan or pyrrole having an electron donating group such as an alkyl group, a vinyl group, an aryl group or amino group as a nucleus substitution group are designated.
