    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall heater, in which control equipment is disposed within a side space on one horizontal side of a combustion casing inside an outer case and an exhaust duct is disposed on a side space on the other horizontal side of the combustion casing, and to enhance the cooling performance of each side space while reducing noise caused by the suction of indoor air.
      SOLUTION: An air inlet 7 is vertically and longitudinally bored in a side plate part on each horizontal side of the outer case 1, the air inlet being located at a front portion exposed to the front side of a room wall. The side spaces 10, 13 inside the outer case 1 together form a suction side air passage for guiding the indoor air from each air inlet 7 to a hot air fan 9.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an overflow of drainage from a drain pan without shortening a length of an exhaust extension pipe in a forced supply exhaust type heater having the drain pan into which the drainage generated in the exhaust extension pipe connected with a downstream end of an exhaust passage, flows. SOLUTION: An air distribution opening 12 is formed at an upper section of a front panel 1e of an outer case 1, and the indoor air passing through a disposition section of a main heat exchanger 6 is guided to the air distribution opening 12 through a space between a top plate 1b of the outer case 1 and an upper wall 2d of a combustion housing 2. The drain pan 18 is disposed on a top face of the upper wall 2b of the combustion housing 2. Thus the drain pan 18 is heated not only by warm air but also by heat conduction from the upper wall 2d of the combustion housing 2, and the evaporation of the drainage from the drain pan 18 is enhanced. A bolt 26e inserted from the front side into the upper end of the front door 2e is screwed with the slider 26b to draw the slider 26b to the front door 2e side against the energizing force of the spring 26c.

The warm air fan 9 is mounted on the partition plate 19 so that its blowoff port 9d faces a part directly above the disposed part of the heat exchanger 6, and the lower face of the partition plate 19 is provided with a flow dividing plate 20 for leading a part of air blown out of the blowoff port 9d, to the cavity 19a.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a bathroom drier/heater capable of always realizing a stable ventilation flow rate irrespective of a gap between a heater and a rear wall face without causing operation of a ventilator to adversely influence the heater.
      SOLUTION: The heater is installed independently of the ventilator. A ventilation space is formed between a rear face of the heater and the wall face. A suction hole is made in a case of the heater so that air in a bathroom is discharged out of the bathroom through the ventilation space when the ventilator is operated. Because of this constitution, operation of the ventilator does not have adverse influence on the heater. Stable air suction rate is always assured irrespective of the state of the wall face behind the heater.
