    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall heater, in which control equipment is disposed within a side space on one horizontal side of a combustion casing inside an outer case and an exhaust duct is disposed on a side space on the other horizontal side of the combustion casing, and to enhance the cooling performance of each side space while reducing noise caused by the suction of indoor air.
      SOLUTION: An air inlet 7 is vertically and longitudinally bored in a side plate part on each horizontal side of the outer case 1, the air inlet being located at a front portion exposed to the front side of a room wall. The side spaces 10, 13 inside the outer case 1 together form a suction side air passage for guiding the indoor air from each air inlet 7 to a hot air fan 9.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably mount a front door in a backward energized state and to attain space saving by narrowing a space between the front door and a front panel in a fireplace type heater wherein a body front face of a combustion case is provided with the front door mounted with a glass pane, and a support means is provided for supporting the front door to the lower end of the body front face of the combustion case tiltably in a longitudinal direction, and further an energizing means disposed on the upper face of the combustion case is provided for energizing the upper end of the front door backward.
      SOLUTION: The energizing means 26 has a bracket 26a fixed to the upper face of the combustion case 2; slider 26 supported to a bracket 26a movably in a longitudinal direction; and a spring 26c energizing the slider 26b backward. A bolt 26e inserted from the front side into the upper end of the front door 2e is screwed with the slider 26b to draw the slider 26b to the front door 2e side against the energizing force of the spring 26c.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow maintenance of first and second burners by removing a support plate without having to remove flame detecting elements that face the tops of the first and second burners.
      SOLUTION: In this fireplace type heater, the first burner and a pair of right and left second burners located therebehind are disposed beneath the support plate on which dummy firewood in a combustion casing 2 is placed, with the upper ends of the first and second burners fitted into respective burner openings bored through the support plate. Further, an igniting member is disposed between the first and second burners in such a manner as to protrude onto the support plate through a see-through hole bored in the support plate. The support plate 12 is divided into a front plate 121 and a rear plate 122 by a first dividing line L1 extending from the horizontal outer end of each second burner opening 12b behind the flame detecting element 19 for the second burner to the horizontal outer edge of the support plate 12, and a second dividing line L2 extending from the rear edge of the first burner opening 12a on each horizontal side of the location of the igniting member to the front edge of each second burner opening 12b.

A hook part protrusively provided at a rear side part of the electronic control unit 13 is engaged with the engaging hole 16b to temporarily support the electronic control unit 13 in an exposed state in front of the outer case 1.
