    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disappearance of print information by storing it either in a nonvolatile memory in an image forming apparatus and a nonvolatile memory outside the apparatus even in an abnormal time, in the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A flexible cleaning member 5 for cleaning a developer on a photoreceptor drum 2 after forming an image is disposed to abut to the photoreceptor drum 2. A charging member 3 for charging the photoreceptor drum is disposed within a range that the flexible cleaning member 5 can move by its flexibility. The charging member 3 is a contact charging member for applying a voltage by contacting with the photoreceptor drum 2. An image forming apparatus is provided with means for detecting a current flowing in the image forming apparatus. When the detected current value is equal to a given threshold or lower, it is determined to be an abnormal value. If it is determined to be the abnormal value, the image forming apparatus is emergency-stopped. At least print information temporarily stored during the imaging-forming is stored either in a nonvolatile memory in the image forming apparatus and in a nonvolatile memory outside the apparatus.
