SOLUTION: The recording and erasing method is provided with a recording layer containing an electron-donative coloring compound and an electron-acceptive compound formed on a support body. A color-developed record formed in the reversible heat sensitive recording media is erased, which relatively forms a colored state and decolorized state according to a difference between a heating temperature and/or a cooling rate after heating.
