    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner for a gas cooking stove which prevents not only occurrence of a flame failure when a gas amount is throttled but also can prevent the occurrence of a red flame and lifting. SOLUTION: A plurality of gas passes 6 having various sectional areas extending radially in the direction of an outer periphery from an annular distribution chamber 4 connected to a gas mixing pipe 2 are formed, and the outer end of the gas passage forms a burner port. In the so formed burner for the gas cooking stove, the outer end of a gas passage 6a having a wide sectional area is expanded in the direction of width so that the outer end is joined with the outer end of a gas passage 6b adjoining the gas passage 6a and having a narrow section area. A partition wall 9 is situated between gas passages 8 adjoining each other and being expanded.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively manufacture an annular burner that can obtain a large dynamic input ratio by eliminating the occurrence of such a trouble as the accidental fire, backfire, etc., caused when a thermal power adjusting lever is operated for abruptly reducing the quantity of a fuel gas. SOLUTION: This annular burner is manufactured in such a way that gas passages 7 extended outward in the radial directions from an annular distribution chamber 6 communicating with a gas mixing pipe 1 are formed in the chamber 6 and, at the same time, the upper surfaces 7a of the passages 7 are formed in slopes which are gradually inclined upward toward the outside and the external ends of the passages 7 are constituted in the burner port 9 of the burner. In the burner, a recessed unburnt gas reservoir 11 the lower part of which is expanded more than its upper part is formed closely to the outside of the port 9. The reservoir 11 is constituted by moving the upper edges of the partition walls of the gas passages in the port 9 inward than the lower edges of the walls and formed by cutting off the upper edges of the partition walls of the gas passages in the port 9.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the coupling strength of both upper and lower rings by forming cylindrical parts of the upper and lower rings for constituting a protective ring so that both the parts are vertically engaged, and forming an engaging hole at one of both the parts and a protrusion at the other to be engaged with the hole to couple both the parts. SOLUTION: In a cooking appliance in which the protective ring 3 is mounted at an opening edge of a window hole 2 opened at the glass top plate 1 and a burner is opposed in the ring 3, the ring 3 has upper and lower rings 30, 31. A cylindrical part 31b to be inserted via a gap into the hole 2 is formed at the ring 31, and a cylindrical part 30b to be engaged with an inner periphery of the part 31b is formed at the ring 30. These parts 30b, 31b are formed so that the both are engaged substantially in entire length in the vertical direction. A plurality of protrusions 31c formed on the part 31b in a circumferential direction are engaged with a plurality of engaging holes 30c formed on the part 31b in a circumferential direction to be coupled so that the rings 30, 31 are not separated.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an operation of fitting a gas jet nozzle to a fixed damper and an air amount limiting plate on the occasion of fitting peripheral components of the nozzle and to facilitate an operation of removing the fixed damper and the air amount limiting plate on the occasion of changing the quantity of heat of a grill burner main body. SOLUTION: On the occasion of fitting a fixed damper 7 and an air amount limiting plate 8 to the suction-side end part of a mixer tube main body 3, the fore end part of a communication tube 4 and a gas jet nozzle 11 are inserted into the central parts of the fixed damper 7 and the air amount limiting plate 8, while a fitting margin 32 of the fixed damper 7 is made fit on the outer periphery of the suction-side end part of the mixer tube main body 3, and then a damper holding spring 9 being a formed wire spring formed in straight lines and a circular arc is fitted from the radial direction of the communication tube 4. Accordingly, no actuating force in the horizontal direction of the damper holding spring 9 acts on the occasion of fitting the fore end part of the communication tube 4 and the gas jet nozzle 11 to the fixed damper 7 and the air amount limiting plate 8 and, therefore, the fitting operation can be executed only by holding peripheral components of the nozzle lightly.

    • PURPOSE:To simply perform positioning of a target provided on a ceramic burner cap and an ignition rod, and grounding the target. CONSTITUTION:An ignition rod 9 is provided on a gas burner of the type where it comprises a burner body 1 and a ceramic burner cap 5 and where the burner cap 5 is placed on a distribution chamber 3 of the burner body 1. A targtet 11 to which sparks are emitted from the ignition rod 9 is provided on the burner cap 5. A recess 12 is formed in the burner body 1 to which recess a root of the target 11 is fitted. A portion of the recess 12 which makes contact with at least the root of the target 11 is formed with a conductor or at least a part of the burner body 1 is formed with a conductor, and a recess is formed in the burner cap 5, which recess a protrusion from the conductor of the burner body 1 is fitted. The root of the target 11 is adapted to face the recess.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous automatic extinguishment even if a temperature detected by a temperature sensor is raised by a pot vibration in a range controller which, when a detected temperature reaches a cutting temperature, discriminates whether an automatic extinguishment should be done, by carrying out such a heating control as detects out without fail a case that there is a possibility of burning or firing. CONSTITUTION:Detected temperatures T of temperature sensors 2a and 3a are extracted every 0.32 second as a temperature data, and a maximum temperature difference among four successive temperature data is calculated. When the maximum temperature difference is below a prescribed value Tx (for example, 4 deg.C) continuously for 20 seconds (or 5 seconds), a first extinguishing condition is satisfied. Further, a temperature difference between the last data and the first data at a time point when the first extinguishing condition is satisfied is not minus, heating means 2 and 3 are stopped.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce the manufacturing cost of a burner head by making an opening in a semiproduct forged using a molding die for a first burner head being applied to a burner having no pan-bottom temperature sensor thereby manufacturing a second burner head being applied to a burner having a pan- bottom temperature sensor. SOLUTION: The burner head 6 of a burner shown at (A) is formed to cover a burner body 5 including the inside diametral section 52 thereof entirely from above while the burner head 6 of a burner shown at (B) is formed to have an opening 63 above the inside diametral section 52 of the burner body. The burner head 6 is molded by forging or casting through the use of a molding die comprising upper and lower dies and then flashes are removed therefrom to produce the burner head 6 shown at (A). The burner head 6 shown at (B) is produced by removing flashes from a molding obtained by forging or casting through the use of a molding die and making an opening 63 through punching or cutting.
