摘要： PURPOSE:To enable beautiful correction by using a correcting liquid consisting of ethyl lactate alone or consisting essentially thereof without requiring the combination use of erasing rubber and to decrease toxicity and danger for fire. CONSTITUTION:Several kinds of resins, for example, styrenic resin, acrylic resin, polyester resin, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, and fluroplastic are used mixedly in general for a toner. Ethyl lactate does not have the solubility performance to the extent of dissolving many kinds of resins and therefore it dissolves or swells just a part of the resins in the toner in the stage of correction. The corrected part causes consequently flake-like exfoliation without forming a fine particle or liquid and the flake-like piece can be easily wiped away by toilet- paper or the like. The surface wiped of said pieces has a beautiful surface and does not require the use of erasing rubber. The ethyl lactate has both high b.p. and flash point and has no worry for toxicity to human body.

This transfer paper has low anisotropy and is protected from occurrence of a curl, waves, creases, etc. due to a change in temp. and humidity. In addition, it can be prevented from curling, etc. independently of the kind of a copier even if the tensional direction is used longitudinally or laterally. Accordingly, unsatisfactory paper feed, insufficient fixing, etc. are prevented, and a high quality image is obtained.
