摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the frequency of ink supply by an operator greatly by providing an impregnatory ink supply roller which supplies ink to an elastic roller by rotating the elastic roller while touching the roller when ink is supplied. CONSTITUTION:To supply ink, a solenoid is de-energized by depressing a switch 85 for a period when the switch is held depressed, and an ink supply motor 25 rotates. When the solenoid is de-energized, an ink roll frame is rotated in an opposite direction by the energizing force of a torsion spring, an ink supply roller 23 touches the contact surface of an ink pad roller (elastic roller) 22 which is corotated by a print drum 21 and supplies the ink to the ink pad roller 22. The rotation speed of the ink supply motor 25 is set at a value which makes the peripheral velocities of the ink supply roller 23 and the ink pad roller 22 equalize each other at the contact area.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming apparatus generating no jamming by mounting a control means constituted so that the movement of a stapler to a selected binding position is started when an image forming start signal is issued and image forming operation is temporarily interrupted when the movement is completed so as to become timing such that recording paper is discharged to an image forming post-processing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A stapling mode is set by the binding position selecting keys 16a, 16b, 16c of an operation panel 15 and a binding position and a necessary number of copies are inputted to an operation panel 15 by an appropriate means and, when a copy button is pushed, the size and direction of a manuscript are detected in an image copier A or an automatic manuscript feeder to determine the size and direction of recording paper. When the movement of a stapler S is started, the image copier A temporarily interrupts copy operation. The moving time from the home position of the stapler S to the binding position is preset corresponding to the size and direction of the recording paper and, by detecting this moving time by a timer, the completion of movement is detected. By this constitution, the jamming generating the feed of the recording paper during the movement of the stapler can be prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To perform binding work using one stapler by independently controlling the movement of the stapler apart from a jogger fence corresponding to a stapling mode and automatically controlling the waiting time between jobs corresponding to the stapling mode. CONSTITUTION:One stapler 5-1 binding recording papers is provided to a stapling part 5 and a jogger fence 4 is automatically positioned corresponding to the size of the recording papers to be used. The stapling part is moved in a direction opened and closed left and right in equal quantity over the distances equally distributed with respect to the center line 0-0 being the feed reference of the recording papers. A part of the member provided with the jogger fence 4 crosses an X'-X' line to constitute the holding part 4-1 of the recording papers in order to support the end parts of the recording papers. Therefore, the holding part 4-1 interferes with the stapling part 5 at the time of the movement of the stapling part 5. In order to prevent this phenomenon, the stapling part 5 is constituted so as to be appropriately retracted.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent shifting in position by switching over the timing of a power down signal with respect to a stepping motor and stopping a positioning stopper member in a defined paper-size position. CONSTITUTION:A positioning stopper member 30 provided on a second conveying passage 21 which is an inverting conveying passage is normally/ reversely driven by a stepping motor 25 according to a control portion so as to be lifted up from a standby position to a paper-size corresponding position while to be lowered from an upper position where the rear end of a sheet of paper is caught between a pull-out roller 27 and an inverting roller 26 to the paper-size corresponding position. Thereby, the positioning stopper member 30 is moved to a defined paper-size position and, at this time, a pulse signal to the motor 25 is turned off while a driving current is switched over to a holding current after a defined time by the action of a delaying means according to a stop timer. Hence, the positioning stopper member can be accurately stopped in a position opposite to a paper-size without causing shifting in position due to inertia.
