摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sound-absorbing material used for a railway track, having a good sound-absorbing performance in a wide frequency range and further having large strength, good weather resistance and good durability enabling to use the sound-absorbing material on outdoor for a long period at a low cost by binding inorganic granules and a reinforcing fiber material with an organic binder and subsequently molding the bound product so as to give a porous molded product. SOLUTION: This sound-absorbing material for railway tracks comprises the porous molded product of an inorganic granules bound with an organic binder and containing a reinforcing fiber material. The inorganic granules comprise the ground products of silica, glass, pottery, gravel, etc., and preferably has an average granule diameter of 0.5-3 mm. The employment of recycled aggregate obtained by grinding the incineration residues of wastes and subsequently classifying the ground residues enables to reduce the cost for producing the sound-absorbing material. The organic binder includes an epoxy resin and a phenolic resin, and the addition of a light-shading inorganic pigment and a silane coupling agent enables to improve the weather resistance of the sound- absorbing material.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make fly ash nontoxic, to change it to a resource, to prolong the life of a final disposal space, of which the site is now extremely difficult to secure and to reduce the size required for it, by classifying fly ash into components and organically integrating their treatments. SOLUTION: Heating fly ash carries out oxidation and removal of free carbon and decomposition and detoxification of an offensive odor. Supplying this fly ash to a washing tank 3 separates the contents therein to a mud-like layer composed of precipitated water-insoluble materials and supernatant water. Water is added again to the mud-like layer which remains in the washing tank 3 again to make it slurry, then it is fed to a decomposition tank 5, and sulfuric acid is injected therein to decompose the remaining fly ash component. A liquid, which overflows the decomposition tank 5, flows into a growth tank 6 to form crystals of a solid phase therein, and a liquid, which overflows the growth tank 7, flows into a separation tank 6 to separate materials with high settling velocity from the slurry liquid. Aqueous solutions having different concentrations discharged by a solid-liquid separator 8 or the like are stored in a circulating liquid tank 10, a part of the stored solution is moved to the washing tank 3 to dissolve water-soluble materials in the fly ash, then it is discharged to a filtration and circulation tank 12 outside a circulatory system of a main liquid, and the remainder of the solution is reused as water for slurry.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing carbide from flammable wastes, capable of obtaining a clean carbide which has a high removal ratio of water-soluble substances from the flammable wastes and contains a very small amount of heavy metals and advantageous in developing a source-recycling system for wastes and effective uses thereof. SOLUTION: This method comprises: heating flammable wastes under a lower oxygenic condition; subjecting the thus obtained carbide to wet crush; and dehydrating and drying it. This makes it possible to quickly remove water- soluble substances and heavy metals apt to remain in the carbide in a high efficiency and hence the resultant carbide is so refined as to contain scarcely any harmful substances of the water-soluble substances and heavy metals.

A slurry classification step conducts to classify the slurry into a slurry having smaller particle size and a slurry having larger particle size in a crystal classification vessel 12. A gypsum dihydrate separating step conducts to separate the gypsum dihydrate from the slurry enriched with larger size particles in a solid-liquid separating equipment 13.
