    • PURPOSE:To perform tracking servocontrol easily even during recording by forming a magnetic head element which obtains a tracking signal from an adjacent track after recording on the downstream side of an objective track of recording on the same substrate with a recording head. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head element which picks up the tracking servocontrol signal from the track which is already recorded by >=1 turn before on the downstream side of the track to be recorded during recording is formed on the same substrate with the head element for recording. The recording head element is an induction type element. The magnetic head element for detecting the tracking servo-control signal is preferably a magneto-effect type element. Thus, the recording head 2 and resistance effect magnetic head 3 for detecting the tracking servocontrol signal are formed on the same substrate 1. A protection substrate 4 is provided on top surfaces of the recording head 2 and magnetic head 3 provided on the substrate 1. In this case, the recording head 2 is formed after the thick magneto-resistance effect element MR is formed.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a large magnetic flux variation and a very flat characteristic, by using a fixed magnet jointly, to make its constitution unique, and using an air core coil.
