摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inertial force sensor which also reduces the number of electrode pad layouts for I/O of signal and can attain miniaturization, by reducing an implementation area of an angular velocity detection sensor and an IC, and by suppressing an external vibration.
SOLUTION: The inertial force sensor includes a vibrating type angular velocity detecting element 32, an IC 34 for processing an output signal output from the angular velocity detecting element 32, and a package 38 for storing the angular velocity detecting element 32 and the IC 34 through a vibration isolation means. The vibration isolation means consists of a placing section 40 mounting the IC 34 which is laminated by the angular velocity detecting element 32 and an outer part 44 which is mounted separately outside of the placing section 40 and which is connected with a wiring pattern 42. The inertial force sensor is mounted to the package 38 by the outer part 44 holding the placing section 40 in a space.

SOLUTION: The composite sensor for detecting the angular velocity and the acceleration is constituted so that a non-functional section 57 in an angular velocity signal processing IC 54 is bonded to a non-functional section 61 in an acceleration signal processing IC 60. The functional section of one of the angular velocity signal processing IC and the angular velocity signal processing IC, therefore, can be directly and electrically connected with a case connection electrode in a case. Thus, a circuit board becomes unnecessary, so that the small composite sensor for detecting the angular velocity and the acceleration is provided.
