    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel capable of reducing the possibility that a flexible printed board may get damaged due to interference with components.SOLUTION: A lens barrel 120 includes: a fixed frame 7; a cam frame 3 that rotates on an optical axis AX with respect to the fixed frame 7; a two-group rectilinear frame 4 that moves in an optical axis direction in a state that the rotation is restricted with respect to the fixed frame 7; a shutter unit 6 that moves in the optical axis direction in a state that the rotation is restricted with respect to the fixed frame 7; and an FPC 170 extending to the fixed frame 7 through an anti-object side of the cam frame 3 in the optical axis direction, one end of which is connected to the shutter unit 6 and the other end of which is connected to the fixed frame 7. On the peripheral surface of the cam frame 3, a gear 33 is formed. The two-group rectilinear frame 4 includes a first projection 45 protruding toward the outside in a radius direction from the gear 33 formed in a position corresponding to the FPC 170 in a circumference direction at the anti-object side than the gear 33 in the optical axis direction.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel that can be reduced the size in an optical axis direction while maintaining a small size in a diameter direction.SOLUTION: A lens barrel 100 includes: an optical system O; a first lens group G1 having at least a lens included in the optical system O; a barrier unit 134 having a barrier blade 134B which opens/closes to protect the first lens group G1; a first group frame 101 holding the first lens group G1; and a cam frame 103 provided in the first group frame 101. The first group frame 101 has a second forward cam groove 138A on the inner periphery thereof. The cam frame 103 has a projection 117A protruding toward the object side in an optical axis direction. The projection 117A has a second forward cam pin 122A which engages with the second forward cam groove 138A. The barrier unit 134 has at least one notch 154 storing the projection 117A. In a retracted state, the projection 117A is disposed closer to the object side in the optical axis direction than the end of an imaging element of the barrier blade 134B.
