SOLUTION: In a treating method organic waste where the organic waste is treated by at least aerobic fermentation and facultative anaerobic fermentation in a reaction vessel, water vapor which is included in generating gas such as the malodorous gas generated in the reaction vessel is removed by a heat exchanger, the generating gas such as the malodorous gas deprived of the water vapor is sucked via a suction pass which is connected with the reaction vessel, the generating gas which is sucked by a suction device is exhausted outside a exhaust pass and, at the same time, part of the generating gas which is sucked by the suction device is circulated into the reaction vessel via a circulation pass and is used for aeration. The air after aeration which includes the malodorous gas deprived of the water vapor is effectively deodorized by a micro-organic deodorizing device changed with woody chips and carbonized woody chips.

The treatment water which contains the organic material treated in the aeration treatment vessel is separated by sedimentation into precipitated solid contents and unprecipitated solid content containing liquid in a sedimentation treatment vessel. The unprecipitated solid content containing liquid which is separated by sedimentation and treated in the sedimentation treatment vessel is subjected to the aerobic fermentation and the anaerobic fermentation treatment in a final reaction vessel in which the porous micro-organism treatment medium is spread all over the bottom part.
