CONSTITUTION:This device for managing data of an IC memory card is constituted of a carrying terminal 11, IC memory card 12, reader/writer 13, and host computer 14. Since whether or not the data in the IC memory card 12 have been transmitted to a host computer is managed with a transmission-complete flag, it can be discriminated when the flag is checked. Therefore, wrong erasure of data to be transmitted to the host computer or double transmission of the same data can be prevented.

When it results is in coincidence, it is considered normal, and the contents of the program 14 of the card 10 is read out, and is written in the program 48 of the terminal 30, and the written program is executed. At the time of the breakdown of the program of the card 10, this purport is displayed on an output part, and the read-in and the execution of the program are prevented. Accordingly, a device never runs away on account of the execution of the broken program.
