摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for communicating data, capable of suppressing decrease in utility efficiency of a communication channel constituting a communication network, when data communication using a TCP is executed via the communication network which includes a radio communication channel and prevents congestion of the communication channel, and to provide its system. SOLUTION: The method for communicating the data comprises a step of data communicating using the TCP between a plurality of communication terminals via a portable telephone communication network including the radio communication channel. In this method, the time for a retransmission time-out, when the data is communicated from the terminal equipment, is set longer than recommended for the retransmission time-out time, when the channel of the communication network is constituted only of a wire communication channel. The retransmission time-out time, when the data is transmitted from the terminal equipment, is preferably a fixed value.

Here, there are provided a step where the mobile equipment 11 transmits a request for triggering a packet communication mode to the mobile packet switch 14, and a step where the mobile packet switch 14 which receives the request for triggering the packet communication mode transmits a response for triggering the packet communication mode to the mobile equipment 11, so that a logic link is set between both points. After that a data communication by transmission of IP datagram is performed, with release of the packet communication mode disconnecting the logical link.
