SOLUTION: Downward guide sections B (rollers 24, 25, 25..., 26) holding the long-sized flat plate-shaped drain materials 5 under the state, in which broader surfaces are directed to the left and the right, and guiding the drain materials 5 to lower sections and backward forwarding sections C (rollers 26, 27) twisting the drain materials 5 under the state, in which the broader surfaces are directed vertically, and forwarding the drain materials 5 to rear sections are installed onto the side faces of a flat plate-shaped frame 21, and the breadth of a drain material inserter 20 is formed at a small value. When the drain material inserter 20 is inserted into soft soil 0 from a working craft 10 and the working craft 10 is advanced while backwards forwarding the drain materials 5 from the drain material inserter 20 and the drain materials 5 are buried while the broader surfaces are directed vertically and extended in the horizontal direction into soft soil 0, the disturbance of soft soil 0 due to the passage of the drain material inserter 20 can be inhibited.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the effect of ground compaction by casting drain materials into a soft ground at a proper span and then pressing in penetration rods around the drain materials and discharging pore water. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a water porous material 2, which is made of synthetic resin, such as vinyl chloride, is covered with a filter 3, thereby forming a belt-shaped drain material 1a. The belt-shaped drain materials 1a are cast into a weak ground 4 at a proper span. Steel-made penetration rods 5 are pressed in around the surfaces of the belt-shaped drain materials 1a, which forces the ground to be deformed to such an extent equivalent to the cubic volume of the penetration rods 5. This deformation quantity can be absorbed by the removal of earth to the earth surface and volumetric changes in the ground. However, since the penetration rods 5 are injected statically and gradually, there is virtually no removal of earth to the earth surface and this energy is absorbed by the volumetric changes in the ground. More specifically, the excess pore water generated in the ground by the volumetric changes is collected into the belt-shaped drain materials 1a and the collected water is discharged to the earth surface.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the liquefaction of a ground surely even on the ground right beneath an existing structure by pumping up ground-water from the bottom of the ground and filling a solidifier solution into the ground together with air. CONSTITUTION:Water shield walls 2 such as continuous soil walls, etc., are constructed around the ground to be improved from a ground surface to a desired depth. Also ground-water is pumped up from a ground 3 at the bottom of an existing structure 1 through a deep well 4 and a water drain pipe 5. At the same time, an under-water level 6 is lowered. Next slurry cement solidifier and solvent type solidifier are filled into the ground 3 together with air through a solidifier filling pipe 9. For cement system solidifier, a permeable ultra-fine particle cement is used. The solvent type solidifier is used after distillation so as to improve permeability. Then the ground strength is controlled by the amount of permeability of the solidifier. Since air remains between the solidifiers together with water after gathering water, liquefaction resistance can be further increased.
