    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a use to easily transfer by providing flap parts foldable back at both longitudinal side ends to a central side with pull handles for pulling the mattress in a transverse direction. SOLUTION: The mattress 1 is provided with a main body part 2 where the user's body is placed and the flap parts 3 which are foldable back to both sides intersecting orthogonally with the axis of the transverse direction. An each pair of the pull handles 4 for pulling the mattress 1 are respectively stitched in a loop form in the transverse direction of the mattress 1 to these flap parts 3. A woven fabric made of synthetic resin fibers having a low friction characteristic is applied to the front fabric of the mattress 1. Woven cloth made of a synthetic resin of low friction is applied to a front cloth. For example, polyester fibers having a high cushion property and rigidity are applied to the wadding, i.e., core material, of the mattress 1. The flap parts 3 are pushed to be folded back together with the pull handles 4 to the lower side of the mat body part 2 so that the user in made to turn over to the side where a nurse exists. The nurse is able to lie down the user on the bottom by pulling the mattress 1. The nurse alone is thus able to move the user.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support the bottom of a bed on the foot side without shaking when a bottom attaching type side guard is attached to the bottom on the foot side, and to adjust the support angle of the bottom on the foot side with a simple operation. SOLUTION: A stay 15 attached to a main frame 12 in such a way that the base end of the stay can be rotated is connected and supported via a support position adjusting means 16 connected to the tip of the stay 15 in such a way that the support angle can be adjusted. The support position adjusting means 16 has a reinforcing frame 21 disposed on either end surface in the lateral direction of the bottom, a lateral pipe 17 disposed in the lateral direction of the bottom, and an adjusting bearing member 22 and a stopper base 23 on the rear surface of the bottom 11 on the foot side. The tip of the stay 15 is connected to a slot 24 of the adjusting bearing member 22 via a stepped bolt 25 movably. Further, a restricting lever 27 for restricting the stay 15 by selectively engaging the stay with an adjustment fixing hole 26 on a flat top 23a is mounted above the stopper base 23.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation radius variable type manual control means suitable for a low floor bed, and to perform the operation by extracting a control force corresponding to its using situation. SOLUTION: A handle base part 12a is mounted through an operation radius control means 13 fixed so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction of the handle base part 12a to a starting shaft 11. This operation radius control means 13 is provided with a protrusion 16 for positioning and tightly adhering the handle base part 12a to a receiving plate 14. Moreover, operation radius control holes 22a, 22b, and 22c in which the protrusion 16 is locked are arranged between a long hole 17 and a grip 12b mounting part of the handle base part 12a, and the operation radius control hole 22a near the long hole 17 provides an operation radius L with the maximum Lmax, and the intermediate operation radius control hole 22b provides an operation radius L in its normal use, and the operation radius control hole 22c provides the operation radius L with the minimum Lmin.
