    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a low-cost coin recognition device which can accurately recognize a coin with a stain and rust by determining a denomination according to read image data and changing a binarization means for the image data according to the denomination. SOLUTION: A denomination decision part 9 decides the corresponding denomination according to external diameter data outputted from an image read part 8 and outputs denomination data to a binarization part 10. The binarization part 10 sets a threshold value for binarization according to the digital image data outputted from an image input part 8 and also outputs binarized image data by comparing the image data with the threshold value. According to, specially, the denomination data obtained by the image input part 8, the binarization means is changed so that decision data to be recognized is affected by neither a local stain or rust on the surface of the coin nor a difference in uneven pattern information quantity between the top and reverse surface. Consequently, recognition which is always stable can be performed.

CONSTITUTION: An endless belt mover 3 is supported by at least two rollers (1 and 2), has at least a double layer structure composed of an insulated layer 31 formed on the side coming into contact with a roller surface and a high resistance layer 32 formed in its surface, and this is wound on the rollers, and a stator 10 is arranged in such a manner that a belt-like electrode surface formed by arraying a plurality of belt-like electrodes 11 at constant pitches in the direction roughly perpendicular to the carrying direction of paper sheets and the like and burying these in an insulator 12 is brought into contact with the insulated layer of the endless belt mover. A driving circuit 20 switches the applied voltages of the belt-like electrode of the stator in sequence, and thereby the endless belt mover is moved by the driving force of an electrostatic force thus generated. At this time, the paper sheets and the like brought into contact by pressure with the high resistance layer as the outer layer part of the endless belt mover are moved by a frictional force.

An outline detecting part 5 extracts outline picture elements to be the elements of an edge or a segment having a large density change based upon a binary image obtained from the picture signal inputted from the input part 1 and a discriminating data processing part 6 counts up the number of outline picture elements extracted by the detecting part 5 for every one of previously set plural concentrical areas from the center position of the coin picture which is found out by the calculating part 4. An identification part 7 compares the count value of the processing part 6 with a previously set reference value to discriminate the counterfeit of the coin.

Thus, the recording density is implemented while not being changed discontinuously and in other case, the picture elements are recorded by usual recording energy.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the adhesion between an image formation material and a hydrophobic master, subsequently, make the peeling-off the material difficult and improve the plate wear of a printing master without the expansion of an image leading to a character image by melting the image formation material and transferring the molten material to the surface of a hydrophilic master to form an image part and heating said image part. CONSTITUTION:A thermal transfer film 10 is heated by a thermal head 13 which is driven by an external signal 12 during a process to wind film using a winding roller 11. Then an image formation 16 applied to the surface of a base film 15 is selectively melted and transferred to the water retaining layer 18 of a hydrophilic master 14. The hydrophilic master 14 is heated by a heater 20 after the image formation material 16 is selectively melted and transferred. In this case, the imgate formation material 16 transferred to the hydrophilic master 14, partly molten, permeates a water retaining layer 18. Subsequetly, the adhesive force working between the image formation material 16 and the hydrophilic master 14 increases significantly, contributing to the significant improvement of a plate wear.

Then the carrier 10 is charged electrostatically by the device 40 and exposed by an entire- surface exposure device 60 through the body 20 to be developed to form a latent image corresponding to the fixed toner image on the carrier 10; and the image is developed by a device 70 and toner is stuck on the toner image. Then a recording base 90 is fed and the toner image is transferred to the base 90. Transfer from the master is repeated by a specific number of times and the toner image on the body 20 to be developed is removed by a blade 121.

CONSTITUTION:When the 1st coil 27 is conducted toward an arrow (g) and the 2nd coil 28 is conducted toward and arrow (j) respectively, the forces f1' and -f2' of motion are produced at both coils 27 and 28 respectively. An objective lens holder 17 is moved toward an arrow (k) together with a carriage 21 by the synthetic force F' of both forces f1' and -f2'. While the synthetic force -F' is produced when the coils 27 and 28 are conducted toward the arrow heads (h) and (i) respectively. Then the holder 17 is moved toward an arrow head (l) together with the carriage 21. Then the prescribed track control or the access control is carried out by controlling the condition direction, the conduction current value or the conduction time of both coils 27 and 28. Thus the stable reading reproduction signal is always secured with no track offset.
