    • PURPOSE:To prevent a funnel from becoming large in size and to attain improvement in a pumping capacity and suppression of noise by a construction wherein a sharply tapered part is provided at the lower end part of a funnel and a water surface is positioned at the sharply tapered part, while a straight tube part is provided in a continuity to the lower end of the sharply tapered part. CONSTITUTION:A funnel 4 is constructed of a gently tapered tubular body 4a shaped like an inverse truncated cone, a sharply tapered tubular body 4b shaped like an inverse truncated cone and provided in a continuity to the lower end part of the tubular body 4a and further a straight tube part 4c provided in continuity to the lower end of the tubular body 4b. A sirocco fan 5 is disposed above the funnel 4 and the funnel 4 is connected to the lower end of a shaft l of the fan so that it rotates horizontally with the fan 5. The lower part of the funnel 4 is immersed in water so that the surface of the water is positioned at the sharply tapered part 4b. According to this constitution, the water in contact with the inner and outer surfaces of the funnel 4 rotates with the rotation of the funnel 4 so that it follows this rotation, rises along the inner surface of the funnel 4 by a centrifugal force and then scatters around from the upper edge of the funnel.

CONSTITUTION:A combustion apparatus has a controller H for deciding an incomplete combustion state based on a detected concentration value of a sensor S for detecting a concentration of an unburnt component contained in combustion gas of a burner 2, and comprises incomplete combustion sensing means 102 provided in the controller H to obtain a weighted value F in which large weighting value is set as a deviation between the detected concentration value of the sensor S and a set concentration value or the detected concentration value of the sensor S is larger at each unit time when the detected concentration of the sensor S is a set concentration value or more. The weighted value F is integrated, and when the integrated value becomes a preset value or more, the incomplete combustion is decided, combustion of the burner 2 is stopped, and an LED lamp 16 is flashed.

A deterioration detecting set ventilation amount varied according to a suitable ventilation amount is ventilated by the means 4 in a state that the fuel supply amount to the burner 2 is constant or substantially constant, and the deteriorating state of the apparatus is decided by.deteriorating state deciding means according to whether a detected concentration value of the sensor at that time is a set concentration value or more or not.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent generation of discomfort sound and a variation in a pumping amount by a simple structure by standing a cylindrical metal gauze concentrically with a funnel from a bottom of a water pan at inside or/and outside of an end of the funnel. CONSTITUTION:A condenser body 1 having a top late 1a and a cylindrical skirt 1b is arranged above a water pan 2. a cylindrical stainless steel gauze 7 is so stood to protrude at its upper end from a horizontal surface as to surround a lower part of a funnel 4 at a center of the pan 2. The funnel 4 is mounted at a shaft of a fan motor 11 and rotatably driven together with a fan 5. Accordingly, water in the pan 2 tends to form a vortex flow due to recessing at a center by a centrifugal force, but the gauze 7 becomes a resistance for the vortex flow to suppress generation of the vortex flow, thereby preventing generation of noise due to the vortex flow and further suppressing a variation in a water level near the center of the pan 2 by the vortex flow, and hence a variation in a pumping amount can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To shorten impressing time of a monitoring voltage for an oxygen sensor during combustion and prevent the deterioration of the oxygen sensor by a method wherein the monitoring voltage of the oxygen sensor is impressed only when an oxygen concentration detecting information is required for correcting the output of a fan by a correcting means. CONSTITUTION:A correcting unit 12d corrects the output of a fan 4 only when it is decided that operation is in the optimum condition by a deciding unit 12e while a monitoring voltage control unit 12g impresses the monitoring voltage of an oxygen sensor 16 only when an oxygen concentration detecting information is requested in order to correct the output of a fan 4 by the correcting unit 12d. In this case, the monitoring voltage control unit 12g impresses the monitoring voltage of the oxygen sensor 16 only when it is decided by the deciding unit 12e that operation is in the optimum condition and when it is decided that the operation is not in the optimum condition, the impression of the monitoring voltage is stopped. According to this method, the impressing time of the monitoring voltage of the oxygen sensor 16 during combustion can be shortened and the deterioration of the oxygen sensor 16 can be prevented.

Under such a condition, when an inspection mode is entered to set a flow rate and an apparatus error for a number memory means (11) and an instrumental error memory means (12), the set flow rate and the set apparatus error stored by an inspection means (22), a communication means 10 and the like and results of judgment from an abnormal pressure drop judging means (18) and a seismic judgment means (19) can be reported sequentially to external equipment automatically. Four types of inspection are accomplished at a time for the set flow rate, the set apparatus error, soldering of a pressure sensor and a seismic sensor based on the resulting information.
