    • PURPOSE:To permit easy and efficient removal of org. matter, denitrification and dephosphorization with simple stages by providing an aerobic filter bed tank in which a porous contact material consisting of hydrated calcium silicate is packed and an anaerobic filter bed tank. CONSTITUTION:Org. sanitary sewage such as cattle dung, living waste water or sewage is introduced into the aerobic filter bed tank 3 in which the porous contact material contg. calcium silicate having 50-90% voids as the main constituting material is packed. The sewage is then treated by a biological membrane method and is thereby subjected to the removal of the org. matter, dephosphorization and nitrification. The treated water subjected to the nitrification is introduced into the anaerobic filter bed tank 5 and is subjected to the biological denitrification. The above-mentioned porous contact material is the molding obtd. by adding a foaming agent such as Al powder to a slurry contg. the siliceous raw material and calcareous raw material as essential raw materials and subjecting the slurry to a hydrothermal reaction treatment at and under a high temp. and high pressure or the crushed matter obtd. by crushing said molding. The removal of the org. matter, the denitrification and the dephosphorization are easily and efficiently executed by such simple stages.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain the title fertilizer of high quality in a short period, by mixing a hydrous organic substance with a prescribed cellular CaSiO3 hydrate, fermenting the resultant mixture, sieving the fermented mixture and grading the sieved mixture. CONSTITUTION:A cellular CaSiO3 hydrate having >=3mm particle diameter and >=50% voids and, as necessary, a flocculant are added to an organic substance (e.g. sewerage sludge) with >=70wt.% moisture content and mixed in a mixer 3 to provide a mixture with 50-75wt.% moisture content, which is then charged into a fermenter 4 having about 200l internal volume, turned, stirred once every about 7 days and fermented for about 1 month to afford a fermentation treatment mixture. The obtained mixture is subsequently sieved with a sieve 5 of size about 3mm and graded into an organic fertilizer with a low content of the cellular CaSiO3 hydrate and the residual cellular CaSiO3 hydrate. The residual cellular CaSiO3 hydrate, as necessary, is air-dried, returned to the fermenter 4 in the fermentation treatment step and repassed through the grading step to produce an organic fertilizer.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of poisoning sympton of crop root, by controlling particle size of a hydrothermally synthesized calcium silicate porous body having 50-80% porosity within the range of about 1-10mm. CONSTITUTION:About 5pts.wt. silica, about 2pts.wt. quick line, about 3pts.wt. cement, about 7pts.wt. water and about 0.008pt.wt. metal aluminum are kneaded and cured and then retained in an autoclave at about 180 deg.C and about 10atm for 10hr. Thereafter, the cured product is crushed to provide the artificial earthing up having about 3-5mm particle size, about 0.4 volume specific weight, about 72% porosity and about 40meq CEC. By the above-mentioned method, in the artificial earthing up high gas permeability are compatible with water holding properties and simultaneously strong surface tension is secured. Since an organic acid is absorbed and neutralized by the strong surface tension and water absorption properties, water holding property and ion exchanging properties which are characteristic in hydrothermally synthesized calcium silicate porous material, cause of root rot is removed.
