    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter that can improve the responsibility of an adjustment means when gas usage quantity is rapidly changed. SOLUTION: The gas meter comprises a main flow passage where the adjustment means that adjusts the flow passage and the detecting means for a first flow rate are placed, and a sub-flow pass where the bypass for the adjustment means of the main flow passage and the detecting means for a second flow rate are placed. The adjustment means is controlled by opening and closing based on the compensated flow rate value that compensates the detected flow rate values of the gas that are detected with the detecting means of the first flow rate or the second flow rate. When the adjustment means is controlled by closing and the detected flow rate value with the detecting means for the second flow rate is smaller than a prescribed flow rate value being smaller than the detecting upper limit value of the detecting means for the second flow rate, the compensated flow rate value is determined by compensating the detecting flow rate value with the detecting means of the second flow rate. When the adjustment means is controlled by closing and the detected flow rate value by the detecting means for the second flow rate is the prescribed flow rate value or larger than, the compensated flow rate value is determined by compensating the detected flow rate value with the detecting means for the first flow rate.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter that can improve the responsibility of an adjustment means such as a valve when gas usage quantity is rapidly changed. SOLUTION: The gas meter comprises a main flow passage 10 where an adjustment means 30 that adjusts the opening quantity of a flow passage, and a detecting means 40 for a first flow rate are placed, a sub-flow passage 20 where the bypass for the main flow passage and a detecting means 50 for a second flow rate are placed, a differential pressure detecting means 60 that can detect the front and the back of the control means, and a control means 100 that controls the adjustment means 30. The control means 100 controls the adjustment means 30 by opening based on a differential pressure detected with the differential detecting means 60 or the compensated flow rate value that a detecting flow rate detected with the detecting means for the second flow rate is compensated when the adjustment means 30 is in a closed state, and then controls the adjustment 30 by closing based on the compensated flow rate value that a detecting flow rate value detected with the detecting means 40 for the first flow rate is compensated when the adjustment means 30 is in an open state. Also, the control means 100 does not control towards the closed state until a prescribed time passes when the adjustment means 30 is controlled from the closed state to the open state.
