    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to transmit torque from the driving side to the driven side supporting the degree of freedom for a linear displacement through following a linear displacement quantity of both bearings (on driving side and the opposite side) of a rotating body on the driven side, that is, a unidirectional displacement quantity (λ) of a rotation center on the driven side at a parallel position of target planes (both planes on the driving and driven sides viewed from a plane on line T-T) of both rotating bodies on the driving and driven sides in cases where running torque is transmitted to the rotating body on the driven side having the degree of freedom for unidirectional, comparatively parallel and linear displacement besides the degree of freedom for rotation. SOLUTION: In both the rotating bodies on the driving and driven sides, 'a ball utilizing rotating joint' comprises a plurality of joint elements (6 pieces in Fig. 2) composed of, guide rings (8) and balls (7), which stand in such mutual position relationship as to implement the relational expression [λ0=(D-d)/2] between allowable displacement (λ0) in the degree of freedom for the linear displacement given to the driven side and the balls (7) (with diameters d) running on inscribed surfaces, as planet contacting circular orbits for the balls, with inside diameters D in the guide ring (8).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic clutch which is a constitutional element in a clutch mechanism where a time from receiving input of a stop signal to transition to a stop state, that is, a time constant of the transition to stop action is a minimum value (instantaneous value), provided with a function which can support a clutch function and to provide a clutch method which can effectively use a clutch element formed as a roughly formed material in order to reduce manufacturing costs. SOLUTION: In a clutch mechanism of an electromagnetic clutch, an 'engagement teeth clutch' method is employed with radial state rack shaped or spiral rack shaped engagement teeth as a constitutional element of the clutch mechanism. And an electromagnetic clutch of the 'engagement teeth clutch' is employed with the engagement teeth of a roughly formed material molded made of a bard and abrasion resistant nonferrous material (rubber, resin or an aluminum alloy) as its constitutional element.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable, in a device having a plurality of rotation driving systems, when a reverse rotation with relatively small torque value against a forward rotation is required, a stop operation alternately till time for one of the plural systems to transfer to a stop state, that is, of a time constant for the transfer to the next operation with an instantaneous value (namely, brakeless time) after set rotation angle displacement from start of the reverse rotation and reception of a stop signal input while maintaining the reverse rotation of the other by switching the forward rotation of a motor for driving both the systems equally to reverse direction. SOLUTION: This clutch has a function to stop one of a plurality of rotation driving systems and to maintain reverse rotation of the other by employing a double clutch mechanism constituted by a mechanical method which can engage with a forward rotation and a reverse rotation for each of a plurality of rotation driving systems, and by using an electromagnetic clutch at the same time provided with a function to instantaneously realize axis fixing and axis free for each of the clutch axes.
