    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a segment for a tunnel wall body easily by forms having a simple shape by producing the main body section and key section of the segment for the tunnel wall body by joining other trapizoidal segments, in which inclined planes are formed at the same angle. SOLUTION: A projecting-shaped segment 1 is linearly symmetrized in the circumferential direction of the tunnel wall body, and consists of a main body section 5 on one end side in the axial direction of a tunnel and a key section 7 on the other end side. The main body section 5 and the key section 7a are formed in a trapezoidal shape, and the inclined faces 21, 23 of both end faces in the circumferential direction are inclined mutually at the same angle. The engaging projecting section 17 of one segment 1 is engaged with the engaging stepped section 31 of the other segment 1, and a flat ring, in which there is no irregularity at end sections in the circumferential direction, is formed. Such segments 1 can be manufactured easily by forms having a simple shape by unifying the segments 1 by fixing the main body sections 5 and the key sections 7 consisting of separate segment by bolts.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the mutual displacement of joint surfaces surely when shearing stress is applied to the joint surfaces in the direction of rotation by forming connecting projecting sections and connecting recessed sections extending along the longitudinal direction of the joint surfaces to the joint surfaces of hexagonal segments. SOLUTION: A connecting projecting section 11 extended along the edge of a joint surface 3a on one side section side in joint surfaces consisting of hypotenuses along the longitudinal direction of the joint surface is formed to the joint surface 3a. A connecting recessed section 12 having a shape capable of being fitted to the connecting projecting section 11 approximately without clearances is formed to a joint surface 3b on the other side section side adjacent to the joint surface 3a. Both joint surfaces 3a, 3b are joined by inserting long bolts into bolt inserting holes 15 and screwing the bolts into screw sections 17 under the state, in which the joint surfaces 3a, 3b of adjacent hexagonal segments 1 are abutted. The state, in which the connecting projecting sections 11 are fitted into the connecting recessed sections 12, is brought at that time, and stress working to the mutually joined joint surfaces is dispersed without being partially concentrated.
