    • PURPOSE:To make possible the detection in each axial direction of X, Z with one detector by forming a movable piece for a blade contact to have the first plane parallel to the axis Z and the second plane tilted toward a tool against the fitst plane. CONSTITUTION:A turret 11 is moved from a standard position and a blade edge is contacted to the first plane of a movable piece 16 parallel to one direction out of the two. Next, the blade edge is contacted to the second plane of the movable piece which is tilted toward the tool against the first plane, and the movable piece 16 is moved in only one direction at right angles with the first plane. The detector 18 for detecting this movement detects the contact of each blade edge of tools with the said first and second planes, and the correction value in the said two directions of the blade edges of other tools against the blade edge of the standard tool is operated by the movement of the turret 11 from the standard position at time of contact. The feeding rate of a blade base 10 is adjusted according to this correction value.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately position in a numerical control machine by calculating the positioning error due to thermal displacement of the movable article drive feed screw of the machine with respect to the feeding therad axial temperature distribution from the temperature rise or the like of nuts and obtaining the thermal displacement from the temperature distribution to eliminate it as correction amount. CONSTITUTION:There are provided first detector 16 for detecting the temperature of a bed 1 as resistive change, and second detector 17 for detecting the temperature of a reciprocating base 11 as resistive change as mounted at the side of a feed net 10 integral with the base 11 to allow the temperature difference calculator 25 to obtain the temperature difference therebetween from the outputs of the detectors 16, 17. This temperature difference signal is fed to a corrected amount arithmetic circuit 28 through a gate 26 opened upon inputting of a corrected amount correction signal f, which circuit 28 thereupon obtains the corrected amount deltan at the coordinate value Xn at the temperature measuring point. This signal is then output through a corrected amount memory 29 to a control arithmethic circuit 21, which controls a motor drive circuit 22 by the instructed output corrected as above.

    • PURPOSE:To perform drilling at the same time as turning on a work-piece set up in a dividing main shaft by employing a turning main shaft and a dividing main shaft and by also employing a drilling device that is controled separately. CONSTITUTION:A headstock 7, holding both a turning main shaft 5 and dividing main shaft 6 at the upper oblique back of the shaft 5 so that the shafts may be horizontally set and be rotatory, is clamped to a lathe bed with two pairs of contact surfaces (1, 1') (2, 2') on the longitudinal upper surface, which are higher at the backside. On each pair of the said contact surfaces are mounted two pairs of carriages 17, 33 opposed to the main shaft axis so that they may move both in the axis direction or at the right angle direction to the axes. A rool rest 19 is set up, corresponding to the said main shaft 5, on the horizontal axis sides of these carriages 17, 33. The axis of a drill head 37, set up on the side where the dividing main shaft 6 is mounted, is located by the two locations within the surface horizontal to, and parallel to the axis of the main shaft 6 and within the right angle direction through the movement of an arm 40 swiveled by an oscillating motor 41.

    • PURPOSE:For improving accuracy, to control the position of a tool in accordance with the output of the computation that is made as to the compensation for the wear loss on the basis of the boundary wear loss at the distance corresponding to 1/2 of feed distance per revolution backward of the tip of said tool, of said blade portion. CONSTITUTION:A detector 13 is fixedly provided to detect the wear loss of the blade tip of the tool 10 fitted on a tool rest 9 and a relative operator circuit 19 is furnished to perform operation of the boundary wear loss (B0-B1) at the distance corresponding to 1/2 of feed distance per revolution backward of the tip in the feed direction of said tool 10 on the basis of the output from said detector 13. Further, a tool compensating circuit 22 is provided to perform operation of the compensation of said tool 10 on the basis of the output from said relative operator circuit 19, and a numerical controller 11 to control the position of said tool 10 in accordance with the output of said compensating circuit 22. A value of surface roughness (A1-B1) from said relative operator circuit 19 is compared with the setting thereof by a judging circuit 23, and a machine tool 21 is operated in accordance with the output of said controller 11.
