At the time of specifying an intersecting line on a position decided to be independently worked about the applied graphic, the operator touches the specified position 2a with the light pen or cursor 13. Consequently, specified data are extracted, an intersecting line passing the point is calculated and only the specified intersecting line is checked by the operator by coloring or ON/OFF operation. When the specification of the intersecting line is checked, the NC data of the intersecting line are formed and stored.

Further, the working program No. is outputted into the NC device 18, and the working preparation is completed. Through the above- described automatic operation, the preparation time can be reduced.

Further, a tool compensating circuit 22 is provided to perform operation of the compensation of said tool 10 on the basis of the output from said relative operator circuit 19, and a numerical controller 11 to control the position of said tool 10 in accordance with the output of said compensating circuit 22. A value of surface roughness (A1-B1) from said relative operator circuit 19 is compared with the setting thereof by a judging circuit 23, and a machine tool 21 is operated in accordance with the output of said controller 11.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve straight performance of a telescopic cover by forming the telescopic cover by telescopically connecting plural movable plates, installing sliders on the respective movable plates, fixing rails for sliding the sliders to a machine body, and forming a direct acting guide of the telescopic cover out of the rails and the sliders. SOLUTION: A telescopic cover 1 is formed by telescopically connecting plural movable plates 3. A direct acting guide 2 is composed of sliders 6 installed on the respective movable plates 3, rails 7 for sliding the sliders 6 and fixing plates 9 for fixing the rails 7 to a machine body 8 of a machine tool. Since the direct acting guide 2 guides the telescopic cover 1 in a sliding guide system, the sliders 6 and the rails 7 can be closely easily installed to improve straight performance of the telescopic cover 1, so that the telescopic cover 1 can be telescoped at a high speed, durability can be enhanced, and vibration and noise at starting stopping time can be restrained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a life detector which prevents beforehand tool holding failure caused by abrasion of a resin-made integrated tool gripper for holding a tool of a machining center. SOLUTION: A measuring arm 6 having two arms is provided inside an upper tool gripper 3 of a disk 2 of a tool magazine 1 in such a state as advancing to a measurement position (a) by a cylinder 11. Conductive rubbers 9A, 9B are stuck opposed to each other to the end of the two arms, the outside of the holding part of the tool gripper 3 for holding a tool which is divided by advancement to the measurement position (a) is surrounded with the conductive rubbers as sandwiching it, and when the conductive rubbers are compressed outside of the tool holding part by exceeding a prescribed compression ratio so as to become conductors, they are judged to have life in an NC device. When the compression quantity is less than a prescribed compression ratio, they are still nonconductors so that they are judged to have no life in the NC device and the life display is performed.
