The side for which this data is transferred discriminates the number of bytes constituting the length by the number of indexes in received image data and expands the data to restore data. Thus, a large quantity of arbitrary continuous same data is compressed with a high compression rate on the data transfer side, and the data transferred side expands easily the data to restored the data.
