    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have a soft wrapper surface and maintain a sufficient strength by performing spray application on only the wrapper surface of a pulp mold to be a specific value at its solidity after being diluted into a specific solid wt.% by the use of a softening agent. SOLUTION: The wrapper pulp molded article is obtained that a used paper pulp solution dissolved into slurry is molded by a wet absorption molding method after removing light weight matter to then be subjected to hot air and infrared drying operation for manufacturing a pulp mold, and it is lowered an ordinary temperature, and given a spray application of a softening agent to the wrapper surface before being dried spontaneously. With respect to the spray solidity, the density is made into 1.0-2 wt.%, thus carrying out uniform application. In addition, a quantity of the softening agent is made into 0.5-1.0 g/cm at its solidity to the wrapper surface of the pulp mold. In the case of being less than 0.5 g/cm , a soft feeling is liable to be insufficient, and an application exceeding 1.0 g/cm incurs lowering of a compression strength; as a result, on further improvement can be obtained because of the saturation of soft and torch feelings on the mold surface.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the high class impression and cushioning properties of a packaging material by a method wherein a beautiful cloth is pasted onto the inner surface and/or outer surface of a pulp molding by means of a paste, the viscosity of which lies within a predetermined range, with a press working machine. SOLUTION: A pulp molding is molded out of pulp as stock by a wet type suction molding method and then heated and dried so as to apply a paste onto the inner surface and/or outer surface of a material. Next, simultaneously with a press working by means of a press working machine, on which a cloth is pasted, the beautiful cloth is pasted to a plug molded body. In this case, the viscosity of the paste is set to be about 3,000-15,000Pa.s. If the viscosity is below 3,000Pa.s, uniform coating of the paste over a large coating area of the paste is impossible, since the penetration speed of the paste in the pulp molding becomes larger. Further, if the viscosity of the paste exceeds 15,000Pa.s, the penetration of the paste in the pulp molding becomes worse and the paste oozes out through the cloth after the pasting of the cloth to the pulp molding, resulting in remarkably impairing the external appearance of the packaging material.
