    • PURPOSE:To improve the tortional rupture strength of a shaft by laminating a reinforcing layer on an layer in the tip of a pipe-like body amd then 0 deg. layer thereon in the tip part of the pipe-like body. CONSTITUTION:A reinforcing layer is formed of reinforcing fibers angled at least 30 deg.C preferably 35-45 deg. to the axis of a pipe-like body to improve the tortional strength. Desirably at least 30t/mm , further desirably 35-70t/mm of tension elastic modulus is used for the reinforcing fibers used in the reinforcing layer. An amount and orientation angle of a prepreg body used for the reinforcing layer is determined such that strain generated in an angular layer allowable strain or less of high property fibers when the pipe-like body is twisted with a predetermined force. The obliquely crossing reinforcing layer wound around the tip of the pipe-like body and a thermocontracting tape wound around the pipe-like laminated body wound around in a desired laminating order are set at a temperature necessary to set matrix resin in a heating furnace and then a core is removed to provide a desired pipe-like body.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight molded body excellent in bending strength, toughness, incombustibility, heat resistance and water resistance by a method wherein slurry stock containing one kind of fiber and slurry containing another kind of fiber are alternately laminated to each other and integrally formed without disturbing the interface between respective slurries. CONSTITUTION:Aqueous slurry, which is formed by preparing calcareous stock and siliceous stock so as to have the same molar ratio of CaO and SiO2, is brought into reaction under pressure by heating up to 160 deg.C or higher. Next, as reinforcing fiber, fiber, the ILSS (interlaminar shear strength) value by ASTM method of which is 400kg/cm or more, and fiber, the ILSS value of which is 300kg/cm or less, are used in combination. Two kinds or more of fibers as mentioned above are respectively added to and mixed with calcium silicate slurries. After slurry containing one kind of fiber is fed in the mold for a filter press, slurry containing another kind of fiber is fed above said slurry in such a manner not to disturb the interface between the two slurries so as to alternately laminate the two slurries to each other and, after that, pressed as they are to obtain an integral forming.
