    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the opening reinforcement of a reinforced concrete slab with a minimum necessary number of reinforcing members.SOLUTION: The number of reinforcing members 3 to be fitted to the portions other than the opening are determined so that the maximum bending moment after a slab 1 with the opening 2 is reinforced is similar to the maximum bending moment of a slab without the opening. A bending moment diagram of the slab 1 prior to reinforcement is determined, and a cracked range in the slab 1 occurring prior to the reinforcement caused by a given design load is determined from the bending moment diagram thus determined, and then the determined number of reinforcing members 3 are fitted to the portions other than the opening 2, in a way to cross over the cracked range, so that the opposite ends of the reinforcing members 3 are fixed outside the cracked range by a length of 25 to 75 cm.

      SOLUTION: A pair of reinforcing members 14 composed of fiber reinforced resin plates having cross-sectional shapes of L shapes are combined in a U shape, and stuck to each other with an adhesive 16 so as to stride over three surfaces of both side surfaces and the under surface of a concrete beam 10 being a reinforcing object, and a fixing plate 18 is adhered to the upper end surface of the reinforcing members 14 combined in the U shape. A through-hole 22 is formed in the concrete beam 10, and a through-bolt 24 is inserted. The end of the reinforcing members 14 is fixed to the concrete beam 10 by the fixing plate 18 by fastening a nut 26 from both ends.
