    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature management medium of which a drop in the temperature to a temperature equal to or lower than a storage temperature can be determined, an emulsion has a small difference between a start temperature and a separation temperature thereof and can be separated at a predetermined temperature, and a lower limit of the start temperature of the emulsion is low.SOLUTION: There is provided a temperature management medium 10 including the emulsion which is liquid at room temperature and solidified when cooled down to the predetermined temperature. The solidified emulsion melts to be phase-separated by raising the temperature. The emulsion contains water, an oil content, and a lipid mixture containing phosphatide, the oil content consists principally of triacylglycerol and/or diacylglycerol, and hydrocarbons with carbon number of 4-40 and/or hydrocarbons with carbon number of 1-60 having a functional group. The phosphatide consists of lecithin and lysolecithin, and the compounding ratio of lecithin and lysolecithin is 70:30 to 30:70 in terms of mass ratio.
