The NBR composition is laminated on the metal laminate.

      SOLUTION: The NBR composition as a rubber layer is obtained by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of a nitrile rubber with 3-100 pts.wt. of white carbon and 60-200 pts.wt. of aluminum oxide 0.1-10μm in average particle size.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vulcanizing and bonding composition capable of effectively vulcanizing and bonding a nitrile rubber, an acrylic rubber, or a fluororubber to a stainless steel plate, even when chromate treatment of the stainless steel plate is not conducted in case of vulcanizing and bonding the nitrile rubber, the acrylic rubber, or the fluororubber to the steel plate.
      SOLUTION: This vulcanizing and bonding composition is obtained by adding (b) a solvent-dispersible silica and/or a hydrotalcite analogous compound to (a) a phenolic resin and/or an epoxy resin. The vulcanizing and bonding composition exhibits satisfactory results approximately equal to those of the chromate-treated stainless steel plate with respect to a water-resistant testing at 95°C for 7 days, an LLC-resistant testing at 120°C for 14 days, and a heat testing at 200°C for 3 days, without conducting the chromate treatment which causes a harmful effect on a human body. Therefore, the composition effectively joins the nitrile rubber, the acrylic rubber, or the fluororubber to the stainless steel plate.
