    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a hot-dip Zn-Al-Mg-base alloy coated high tensile strength steel sheet excellent in plating adhesion by using, as a plating original sheet, high-strength grade steel imparted with resistance to molten metal embrittlement cracking by addition of B.SOLUTION: Reduction treatment is carried out under the following conditions: in an x-y rectangular coordinate system of real number scale with retention time (sec) as x-axis and reduction heat treatment temperature (°C) as y-axis, "retention time" being defined as the time during which a surface temperature of the steel sheet is retained at ≥700°C in a furnace of the reduction heat treatment prior to plating and "reduction heat treatment temperature" being defined as the highest temperature of the steel sheet surface in the furnace, the retention time and the reduction heat treatment temperature are within the region surrounded by the straight lines connecting a(5,830)-b(20,830)-c(75,790)-d(200,725)-e(200,700)-f(5,700)-a shown in Fig.1 (boundary is included). Subsequently, plating is carried out by hot-dip Zn-Al-Mg-base plating bath.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten Al, Mg-containing galvanized steel sheet excellent in molten metal embrittlement crack resistance and coating film blistering corrosion resistance.SOLUTION: The molten Al, Mg-containing galvanized steel sheet is obtained by bringing a molten Al, Mg-containing galvanized steel sheet having a molten Al, Mg-containing galvanized layer including 1.0-22.0 mass% of Al and 1.5-10.0 mass% of Mg into contact with water vapor having a temperature of 105°C or above. In the molten Al, Mg-containing galvanized steel sheet, an X-ray diffraction intensity on a surface of the molten Al, Mg-containing galvanized layer satisfies a condition represented as an expression (1): A-B≤400 cps. In the expression, A represents a diffraction peak intensity (cps) at 2θ=20.680° (Cu vessel, voltage: 40 kV and current: 50 mA), and B represents a background intensity (cps) at 2θ=20.000° (Cu vessel, voltage: 40 kV and current: 50 mA).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a member with a weld joint part which is constituted by arc-welding a hot-dip Zn-Al-Mg based alloy plated steel sheet as a material and subjected to electrodeposition coating, the member capable of inhibiting blister corrosion under coating occurring at the weld joint part.SOLUTION: The problem of blister corrosion under coating is solved by further improving the adhesion between a phosphate treatment coating and an electrodeposition coating by a step of forming the phosphate treatment coating on a surface of the member prepared by arc-welding the hot-dip Zn-Al-Mg based alloy plated steel sheet by using a treatment liquid containing 0.01-0.5 mol/L of at least one kind of cations selected from Zn, Ni, Co, Fe, Mn and Mg and 0.01-1.0 mol/L of nitrate ions, and a step of subsequently forming on the surface of a chemical conversion coating by using a treatment liquid containing a salt of a valve metal and a fluoride of a valve metal.
