    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently expand a hole provided in reinforced concrete and the like.
      SOLUTION: A hole expanding apparatus 1 includes a pipe body 2 where high pressure fluid is supplied from a high pressure pump 16, a nozzle head 3 attached to the top end part of the pipe body 2 and provided with a pair of upper and lower nozzles 31, 32 on its side face, a feed mechanism 4 for reciprocating the pipe body 2 in its axial direction, and a rotation mechanism 5 for rotating the nozzles 31, 32 with an axis of the pipe body 2 centered. The upper nozzle 31 and the lower nozzle 32 are disposed spaced apart from each other in a vertical direction. The upper nozzle 31 is disposed to let an outlet port face obliquely downward, and the lower nozzle 32 is disposed to let an outlet port face obliquely upward, and they are composed to let the high pressure fluid W1 and W2 injected from each of the nozzles 31, 32 three-dimensionally and mutually intersect without collision, thus expanding a cross section of the concrete hole 11 provided in a concrete construction 10.

In the case where it is necessary to replace the adsorbent because of the deterioration of the adsorbent in this wastewater treatment apparatus, the container which houses the deteriorated adsorbent can be replaced with the container which houses the new adsorbent. By this constitution, the adsorbent can be easily replaced along with the container in the wastewater treatment apparatus.
