    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain generation of a brake squeak in a wide range frequency band.
      SOLUTION: This brake shoe 16 comprises a shoe rim 16A forming a shape of following a brake drum inner peripheral surface, a shoe web 16B vertically erected from its inner peripheral surface, and a brake lining stuck to its outer peripheral surface. At least one disk member 18 forming a disk shape and a weight 20 forming a cylindrical shape are relatively displaceably inserted in the direction separating from the shoe web 16B into a bolt 22 inserted into an insertion hole 16E opened in the shoe web 16B, and the disk member 18 and the weight 20 are elastically energized in the direction of the shoe web 16B by a coil spring 24. The friction damper action is exhibited by generating sliding on a contact surface between the shoe web 16B, the disk member 18 and the weight 20 in braking.
