    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast method and system, and broadcast station and receiver in which transmission bands are effectively utilized by transmitting video, audio or program information and additional information such as CM information while effectively utilizing a non-used area of a TS packet. SOLUTION: The present invention is characterized in that, a substantial empty area of a TS packet is set as a transport private data area, additional information is divided to generate divided additional information so as to be superimposed in the transport private data area of each TS packet, and the divided additional information items and a reconstruction information item for reconstructing the additional information from the divided additional information are sent out while being superimposed on the transport private data area. At a receiving side, the divided additional information items and the reconstruction information item are extracted from the transport private data area of the TS packet and on the basis of the reconstruction information, the extracted divided additional information is reconstructed to restore the additional information.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus capable of controlling the F0 (Center Frequency) shift caused by the temperature rise of a gradient coil without increasing the size or cost of the apparatus.SOLUTION: The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes: a cylindrical magnetostatic magnet; the gradient coil disposed on the inner side of the cylindrical magnetostatic magnet; and a plurality of metal shims disposed on the inner side of the cylindrical magnetostatic magnet in such a way that the positions and the number are changeable for adjusting the spatial uniformity of the magnetostatic fields. The plurality of metal shims are disposed in the positions and number predetermined by an optimization calculation for minimizing a target function under a plurality of constraint conditions. One of the plurality of constraint conditions is a shift constraint condition that the amount of shift of the center frequency of a magnetic resonance signal caused by the temperature change is a prescribed threshold or lower. The amount of shift of the center frequency and the positions and number of the metal shims are associated with one another in the shift constraint condition.
