    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging apparatus in a blast furnace with which even when changing the piled-up level of raw materials in the furnace, cokes can be charged to the suitable position at the center part in the furnace and the continuously suitable piled-up shape of the cokes to the height direction in the center part in the furnace can be formed.
      SOLUTION: In the charging apparatus in the blast furnace, provided with a raw material-charging device 30 for charging the raw materials into the blast furnace 10 and a coke-charging device 20 for charging the cokes at the center part in the blast furnace 10; the coke-charging device 20 is disposed at the center part in the furnace top part of the blast furnace 10, and the raw material-charging device 30 is disposed at the circumference of the coke-charging device 20.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure of joint between stave coolers with which when filling up castable refractory in the gap between an iron shell and the stave cooler at the repairing time in a blast furnace while the stave cooler is installed, the leakage of the castable refractory from the joint between the stave coolers can be prevented.
      SOLUTION: Pressing plate fixing bolts 2 for fixing a pressing plate 4, are fitted to the stave cooler 1 so as to stick a water-absorbing/shrinkable sealing member 3. Successively, the pressing plate is inserted and shut in with the nut 2a for fixing. In such way, after installing the pressing plate in the inner surface of the furnace at the one side edge part of the stave cooler, the castable refractory is filled up into the back surface of the stave cooler.
