    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-seismic reinforcing structure for a building construction, which is achieved by firmly arranging an intermediate member (stud) of a simple structure on an immediately front portion or rear portion of a column, at a location between upper and lower additional beam members connected to existing beams, respectively, to thereby minimize a shearing force and a load bearing capacity imposed thereon. SOLUTION: According to the anti-seismic reinforcing structure, a desired number of the intermediate members 13 are arranged at the immediately front portions of the columns 11, 11, and the additional upper and lower beam members 14, 14 are arranged on front portions of the existing upper and lower beams 12a, 12b, followed by fixing the upper and lower beams 12a, 12b and the upper and lower beam members 14, 14 to each other at inflection points P1, P2 that are displaceable when a horizontal force is applied to the beams 12a, 12b and the beam members 14, 14, as pin fulcrums by slightly longer diameter pin members 14a, 14b. Then each intermediate member 13 is firmly arranged on a lower surface and an upper surface of the additional beam member 14 by fixing means such as anchor bolts or a welding means.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-seismic strengthening structure which reduces costs by structural simplicity and which dispenses with great skill by virtue of simplicity of construction, and also to provide an anti-seismic strengthening method.
      SOLUTION: In the anti-seismic strengthening structure, a visco-elastic body is provided on one side surface of a concrete structure 1 or both side surfaces 2a thereof; a face material 4 is provided on an outer surface of the visco-elastic body 3; and one side part of the facing material 4 is fixed to a part except the side surface 2a of the concrete structure 1 via a fixing bracket 5. An anti-fall member for preventing the face material 4 from falling is arranged in such a manner as to face an outer surface of the face material 4, and mounted on the concrete structure 1. The visco-elastic body 3 side of an anti-seismic strengthening face plate 11 with the visco-elastic body, wherein the visco-elastic body 3 is fixedly preattached to one side surface of the face material 4 or both side surfaces thereof, is provided on the side surface 2a of the concrete structure 1. After that, the face material 4 is fixed to a part, except the side surface 2a, of the concrete structure 1.
