      SOLUTION: In this fixing method for joining a ceramic member and the metallic member by a bolt, a member having a female screw machined part in a tapered hole is inserted after aligning positions of the tapered hole and the female screw machined part, the bolt is inserted from a metallic member side, and the female screw machined part and the bolt are tightened when fixing the ceramic member provided with the tapered hole which becomes narrow on the metallic member side and the member provided with the female screw machined part following the tapered hole.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently and economically prevent or restrain the vaporization of cooling water in the cooling plate and to prevent the breakage of the cooling plate by beforehand detecting a sign of the vaporization in the cooling plate and taking the preventing measure to the breakage of the cooling plate only in the necessary cooling system. CONSTITUTION:A part of the cooling plate 4 is exposed to the inside of the high temp. furnace 1 of a blast furnace caused by wearing of the furnace wall 11 and the temp. of the cooling water is raised. This condition can be confirmed by the sign phenomenon of the vaporization, by clouding phenomenon due to the generation of bubbles in the cooling water by visually checking the condition of drainage 5 in the cooling water for cooling plate. At the time of condirming this condition, immediately, e.g. a three-way valve 8 as directional change-over valve is manually operated, and a water supplying source is changed over into a high pressure water pipe 7 which has an original pressure higher than the pressure loss due to gas-liquid two phase flow in the cooling plate 4 and a supplying/draining water piping 3 system. By this method, the generation of the vaporization of the cooling water in cooling plate is prevented from happening or the vaporizing phenomenon after its occurring can be restrained and the breakage of the cooling plate can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a repairing method for the furnace wall of a blast furnace which prevents the development of crack and deformation of an iron shell and can easily be executed at an extremely low cost, by stably supporting the repaired refractory over a long period. CONSTITUTION:After fitting, from the inside of furnace, an auxiliary cooling panel 5 performed with monolithic refractory 9 till the intermediate thickness of a water cooling system pipe 8 spraying material 11 is sprayed from the inside of the furnace while using studs 6 arranged to the auxiliary cooling panel 5 as a supporting material. The auxiliary cooling panel 5 is fitted so as to face the intermediate position of the existing cooling panels 4, and after completing the spraying, a force-feeding material 10 is forcedly fed for filling up a gap at the back surface side. Further, the air is vented from an air vent hole 12 in order to improve the filling property of the force-feeding material 10 and prevent the explosive crack at the initial stage. The durability can be improved by this repairing technique for the furnace wall of the blast furnace.
