    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a converter refining method and converter refining equipment, wherein three converters are efficiently operated when molten iron is subjected to refining treatment using three converters.
      SOLUTION: In the converter refining method where molten iron is subjected to refining treatment using three converters 2a, 2b, 2c, the three converters 2a, 2b, 2c are used in the order of the converter for decarburizing, the converter for the combined use to carburizing and dephosphorizing and the converter for dephosphorizing, thereafter, repair is performed, again, their use and repair are performed in the similar order, when either one selected from three converters 2a, 2b, 2c is used as the converter for decarburizing, the other one is used as the converter for dephosphorizing, the remaining one is used as the converter for the combined use to decarburizing and dephosphorizing, and when either one selected from the three converters 2a, 2b, 2c is repaired, the other two are used as the converters for the combined use to decarburizing and dephosphorizing.
