    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reverse-conical kneader which gives, with a small amount of kneading solution, a kneaded product having high fluidity even from a monolithic refractory containing a specified amount of ultra-fine powder of particle sizes of ≤10 μm, causes no co-rotation of the refractory because of the simple structure of the body exerting high durability and can thereby prevent a stay of the kneaded product and a method of kneading a refractory. SOLUTION: The kneader has a container 4 having a truncated reverse-conical lower part, an inside stirrer 1 rotating on the vertical axis at the center of the container 4 and outside stirrers 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d revolving coaxially with the inside stirrer 1 along the inside wall of the container 4. The support members 3a and 3b for supporting the outside stirrers 2a and 2b, respectively has stirring auxiliary members 14a and 14b so as to move the refractory staying between the inside stirrer 1 and the outside stirrers 2a, 2b, 2c and 2d.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous mixing/granulating/drying device which can continuously obtain granulated materials of comparatively large diameter without causing the adhesion of a processing object to a rotary shaft.
      SOLUTION: A container (1) is partitioned into a mixing zone (K), a kneading and core-making zone (P) and a granulating/drying zone (Q) by partition dam plates (20k, 20p and 20q) from a processing object charging side toward a product discharging side. Stirring blades (34, 34, ...) are mounted to a rotary shaft (30) provided over these zones (K, P and Q), and chopper blades (35, 35, ...) are mounted to the container (1). The part corresponding to the granulating/drying zone (Q) of the container (1) is heated with heated vapor from the outer peripheral surface, and the parts corresponding to the kneading and core-making zone (P) and the granulating/drying zone (Q) of the rotary shaft (30) are heated from the inside with heated vapor.
