摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a proper surface pressure to the cell power generation part, even if there is imbalance of thickness between the cell power generation part and a manifold.SOLUTION: In a cell out of a plurality of laminated cells, that exists excepting both ends in the lamination direction, some of insulation materials provided between a pair of separators are composed of hard members 181, 182, and some other insulation materials are composed of an elastic material. The hard members 181, 182 are the portions corresponding to the lower parts of gaskets provided between the plurality of laminated cells, and the parts composed of an elastic material are preferably arranged at both ends of the hard member.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for restraining deterioration of a sealing property of a fuel cell.SOLUTION: A fuel cell stack 100 has a stack structure such that plural unit cells 110 are laminated and fastened. The unit cell comprises a membrane electrode assembly 10, and first and second separators 21, 22 holding the film electrode assembly. Each unit cell is provided with manifold holes constituting manifolds M1-M4 for circulating reaction gas on an outer periphery of a power generation region in which the film electrode assembly is arranged. A space housing a seal member 40 and having a side wall defining thickness of the seal member under a pressurized state is formed by a second recess 32 provided between first and second separators and surrounding the manifold holes.
