    • PURPOSE: To enable the further effective utilization of a by-product oil containing diarylalkane and obtained by the alkylation of a monocylic aromatic hydrocarbon with an olefin, by converting the diarylalkane to the monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon and a triaryldialkane by disproportionation reaction.
      CONSTITUTION: A by-product oil fraction having a boiling point of 260W320°C, containing diarylalkane, and obtained in the production of alkynated monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon such as ethylbenzene, ethyltoluene, etc. from an olefin such as ethylene, etc. and a monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon such as benzene, toluene, etc., is disproportionated in the presence of a disproportion catalyst to obtain (A) a monocyclic aromatic htdrocarbon fraction having lower boiling point than the above by-product oil and (B) a fraction having a boiling point of 350W450°C and containing triaryldialkane. The fraction A is properly subjected to the fractional distillation and used as the raw material for the alkylation reaction. The fraction B is superior to the above by-product oil as an electrical insulation oil or a solvent of the dye for pressure-sensitive copying paper, etc.

    • 目的:为了进一步有效利用含有二芳基烷烃的副产物油,通过将芳基芳族烃与烯烃烷基化,通过歧化反应将二芳基烷烃转化为单环芳烃和三芳基二烷基。 构成:含有二芳基烷烃的沸点为260-320℃的副产物油馏分,由烯烃如乙烯等生产炔基单环芳烃如乙苯,乙基甲苯等。 和单环芳烃如苯,甲苯等在歧化催化剂的存在下进行歧化,得到(A)沸点低于上述副产物油的单环芳族低聚物馏分,(B)馏分 沸点350-450℃,含三芳基二烷。 馏分A适当地进行分馏并用作烷基化反应的原料。 馏分B优于作为电绝缘油或压敏复印纸等的染料的溶剂的上述副产物油。

    • PURPOSE: To obtain excellent color phase and fading resistance and good physical properties without generating an unpleasant odor, by applying disproportionation treatment to diarylalkane or a hydrocarbon containing the same.
      CONSTITUTION: Diarylalkane to be used is represented by formula I or a stock hydrocarbon mixture mainly containing the same has b.p. ranging from 260°CW 320°C and is byproduct oil fraction formed in preparing alkylated monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon such as alkylbenzene by alkylating monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbon with olefin. The especially pref. byproduct oil fraction is one obtained from a process for preparing ethylbenzene or ethyltoluene by alkylating benzene or toluene with ethylene and, for example, when disproportionation treatment is applied to said oil fraction by using an aluminum chloride catalyst and the catalyst is subsequently deactivated or separated by filtering and distillation is performed, a fraction containing triaryldialkane represented by formula II is obtained. This fraction is suitable as the solvent for the dye of pressure sensitive paper and the b.p. range thereof is 350W450°C.
