摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a chemically stable tyrosinase activity-inhibiting agent containing the glycoside of an alkylresorcinol, etc., as an active ingredient, improved in water solubility, and low in toxicity. SOLUTION: This tyrosinase activity-inhibiting agent contains a compound produced by converting only one of the phenolic hydroxyl groups of a compound selected from a compound of formula I (R is H, an alkyl, an alkenyl) and a compound of formula II (R is an alkyl, an alkenyl) into a glycoside group or a compound produced by converting only one of the phenolic hydroxyl groups of a compound selected from the group consisting of a compound of formula III (R , R are each an alkyl, an alkenyl), a compound of formula IV and a compound of formula V as an active ingredient. The tyrosinase activity- inhibiting agent is preferably added in an amount of 0.001-20wt.%, especially 0.01-5wt.%, to each cosmetic. The water solubility of the tyrosinase activity- inhibiting agent is increased due to the presence of the glycoside group. The tyrosinase activity-inhibiting agent is therefore low in toxicity to the skin, low in irritability, high in stability to light and heat, and further high in stability to various base materials and additives.

摘要： PURPOSE:To efficiently obtain lichenous components for dyes, antibiotic substances, perfumes, etc., by collecting small pieces containing the same individual fungal cells and algal cells of a natural lichenous plant and culturing an undifferentiated symbiont having lichenous componental productivity similar to that of the natural lichenous plant body. CONSTITUTION:A natural lichenous plant (e.g. Usnea rubescens) is cut to small pieces of about 1cm length and tissual parts are collected from the same individual so as to contain at least one fungal cell and at least one algal cell. The resultant parts are then bedded on an ager cultude medium and cultured at 25 deg.C under conditions of light irradiation at 2000Ix for 3 weeks to induce an undifferentiated symbiont of the lichenous plant having the lichenous plant. The undifferentiated symbiont is then transplanted to a liquid culture medium suitable for producing the lichenous components to continue suitable for producing the lichenous components to continue culture at 25 deg.C under the conditions of light irradiation at 2000Ix for 1 month. After 1 month, the culture solution is filtered to collect the undifferentiated symbiont, which is ground and extracted with acetone in a Soxhlet extracter. The obtained extract solution is concentrated and purified by thin-layer chromatography to afford the objective produced lichenous ingredients.

The extract may be pulverized. It has excellent effect to improve various psychopathies such as neurosis, depression, nicotine poisoning, antihypnotic poisoning, etc.
